It's been about half an hour since Sydney realized the house in her dream was her mom's house and she was still pretty upset and confused as to why that would be in her dream. She hasn't been there in 4 years, and she hasn't had dreams of it, thought of it, nothing. Then, why now? Now of all times? "So, you're 100 percent certain about this? Like there is no way that it could be another house?" Griffin asked "I-I know it, the way the house looked in the dream was how it looked when I left. Just darker and eerier, almost like it was abandoned" Sydney explained "Okay, well has anyone talked about it recently. I mean you did say you missed your mom a few day ago. Maybe that triggered it" Griffin suggested "That's the thing, I miss my mom. Not the house, that house was a nightmare... No pun intended" Sydney replied "Okay, then maybe it was the stress of your dad that it triggered you to want to be back there" Griffin said "Yeah, maybe" Sydney replied. Griffin kept his eye on Sydney because he was worried that she would have another panic attack or another meltdown, he stayed by her side for most of the day but he kept his distance at times.
As thee day went on Griffin hadn't received a single call from Wyatt and for some reason he was getting worried. After a whole day of no calls to Griffin or Sydney he could tell something was off, sure he could be busy but he always has time to text, Griffin even tried calling Wyatt but every time it just went to voice mail. "Sydney?" Griffin said "Yeah" She responded "Have you heard from your dad?" Griffin asked "No" Sydney chuckled "Why would I?" Sydney asked "I don't know just he hasn't called me all day for a check in and it's creeping me out" Griffin replied "Have you tried calling him?" Sydney asked "Yeah, and it went straight to voicemail every time" Griffin said "Well, just leave it for today. Maybe he's just really busy.. or maybe he doesn't have his phone on him" Sydney said "Yeah, maybe"
Two Days Later
"Okay, now it's getting really weird" Sydney said "Yeah, it's been almost three days, he should've called by now at least. Even a text would do just to say that he was busy" Griffin exclaimed "Have you tried calling his boss or a coworker?" Sydney asked "I don't have any of their numbers" Griffin said "Huh... Oh!" Sydney exclaimed "What?" Griffin asked "I have his bosses number, he'll know here he is" Sydney said "Is he answering?" Griffin asked "Hang on, it's ringing"
Over Phone
Sydney & NateNate: Hello?
Sydney: Nate hi, it's Sydney. Wyatt's daughter
Nate: Oh, hello.
Sydney: Hi, um, I just had a quick question for you
Nate: Oh okay, go ahead
Sydney: Have you heard from my father at all?
Nate: No.. Why?
Sydney: Because he always calls me at around noon when he takes his breaks but he hasn't called in three days
Nate: Sydney...
Sydney: What?
Nate: Wyatt hasn't been here all week
Sydney: What? He said he had a business trip with you
Nate: He did, he never showed up for the flight
Sydney: He what?
Nate: He never showed up for the flight so we left without him
Sydney: Are you saying that my father is missing?
Nate: I wouldn't go that far, he may have been held up, his phone might of died. The best thing to do right now is call James, his side man. He goes every where with him, if anyuone wil know here he is it's James
Sydney: O-Okay, but iof you hear from him please call me
Nate: I will, but Sydney
Sydney: What?
Nate: Don't panic, he's probably fine
Sydney: Okay, thank you
Sydney: *hangs up*
"Well?" Griffin asked "He never showed up" Sydney said "What? For his flight or the meeting?" Griffin asked "The flight, so they left without him" Sydney said "Well what did his boss say?" Griffin asked "He told me to call James, but I don't have his number" Sydney sighed "I do, I'll call" Griffin said grabbing his phone
Over Phone
Griffin & JamesJames: Hello?
Griffin: Hey James, it's Griffin
James: Griffin! What can I do for you?
Griffin: Have you spoken to Wyatt?
James: Oh, about that um. On the way to the airport, there was an accident
Griffin: What?
James: As Wyatt's side man I was not given the responsibility of telling you at the time, but I can tell you now. And it's bad
Griffin: What happened to my boss?
James: I was in the car with Wyatt when it happened but when we got to the hospital. Wyatt didn't make it
Griffin: What?
Jame: I'm sorry I know that I should've called you but it would've risked my job and I'm sorry
Griffin: When did this happen?
James: The day he left... His daughters birthday
Griffin: So a week ago.. that checks out what Nate said
James: I'm so sorry, and tell Sydney that I am as well
Griffin: Yeah
Griffin: *Hangs up*
"What happened to my father?" Sydney asked "There was and accident, James is fine" Griffin said "And my dad" Sydney said in a shaky voice "He-" Griffin stopped but Sydney could tell "Oh my god..." Sydney gasped "He's dead... My dad is dead"
