Let go—when the heaven that you used to hold dear became nothing more but a dirtied rug. When it no longer feels the same or when it doesn't seem right, learn to loosen your hold and slowly—little by little—do know how or when's the right time to let go. Even if it hurts, even if it will wound you up and leave you scarred and scathed.
Let go—once the tide no longer comes up at midnight to dampen your feet while sleeping on the seashore. When the ocean waves are being seemingly quiet unlike the old and wild ones that you used to get excited about. Learn the art of running away from the rushing of the now-calmed waves, learn to forget about the addicting sensation of the sand beneath your feet or the salty breeze of the ocean air. Even if it's indeed a difficult thing to do or to ask of you, please, do learn to forget.
Let go—when the light's not as bright as it was before. When it no longer holds light to suffice your neediness, when it already consumes your soul and leads you into darkness. Learn to shine on your own, learn to shoo the darkness away using your own little embers of light. Even if it is a complex thing to learn in a minute or two, take your time and know that you can, shine on your own. Thus, not needing someone else's to satisfy your own.
Let go—when the flowery path of dandelions began to wither out of too much sunlight or of lack of watering. When the rose garden are of nothing but spiky thorns that can cut your fingers and drink blood out of it. Know how to hold it down well so that you shall not hurt yourself upon picking it up. Even if you are too scared or too merciful to give up that sight of red roses and wild dandelions, for once, see yourself and learn to ignore them as they wither.
Let go—when the tale of love no longer speaks freedom.
Let go—when the kind of affection that you once longed for slowly turns to poison.
Let go—when it's already too much or when it's no longer enough.
Let go—choose yourself this once, run away and get lost. Take your time and find your cause. Be the woman that you've been dreaming off.
You need no light for you can be one.
You need no knight for you are brave enough to protect who you are.-Need no light, need no knight
