Chris Evans : Deception

Part 2

Authors Note: Hope you liked the first part. This part has a two weeks time jump. As y/n has to move fast and figure her life out, now that her wedding to Eric didn't happen. At some point in another part you'll find out a little piece of why he didn't show up for the wedding. 

December 24 2019, Christmas Eve, by now you have settled and got all your things move into your bedroom in the basement in your parents estate home. You came from a good upbringing and you parents had comfortable life. Part of the reason they didn't like Eric so much, he worked to put himself through school, his dad left his mom when he was 8. His mom struggled financially still. She had never remarried, she didn't feel she was meant for love, and really gave up on it. You started to feel that way now too, Eric was your first serious boyfriend, you thought you be together forever. Now you feel it's just not meant for you. You spent the past few weeks in your room crying where no can see you. Your dad checks on you daily, your mom tries to talk you but you don't want any part of her.

Tonight is one of your favourite nights of the year, you love Christmas you love the holidays, the time with friends and family. Your just sitting in your living room upstairs watch A Christmas Story with your sisters. You just watch the TV, Emma and Amber are joking trying to get you to laugh but nothing comes out. When the movies over you head down to bed. You turn on you music on your Iphone, listen to sad love songs. Your scrolling through all the photos of you and Eric. You even look on his facebook account, he's out of town in Las Vegas with his buddies. Laughing and having fun, not a thought or care in the world about you.

Emma comes in your room and lies next to you on your bed. She just looks over at you, even she has tears in her eyes.

"y/n, I think it's time to stop looking on his social media, you need to block him out of you heart. You got a new job you start in the new year. Please I miss my sister." Emma says

"I know your right, it's just did I mean nothing to him ever, I feel like that's the truth now. How can he just move on like I meant nothing, if disappear from the world he wouldn't even care." y/n say.

"I got and idea delete you social media accounts or at least change your profile names, and take every proof of him off them. Delete all the photos on you phone, show him your strong and eventually you will be happier without him." Emma says

"Ok, sis let's do this, where to start." y/n ask

Over the next couple hours you delete any trace of Eric off your phone, you have tears while doing it. Although by the end you feel a weight lifted off your chest, you and Emma start looking for some of your old friends from high school on social media. You eve come across your favourite actor on twitter, not realizing he was on there.

"Emma Chris Evans has a twitter account, whole rock have I been living under?" y/n ask

"hahaha, y/n yes he's been on there for years, you where to busy with Eric to notice. Least that made you smile and laugh a little." Emma said.

"Ya funny, Eric loved what's her name Jessica Biel right from that family show for years, and her movies. I wasn't allowed to watch a lot of Chris Evans movies I don't get why, he makes good movies. He wouldn't even watch Captain America movies. We could watch all the other Marvel movies but those." y/n said.

"Wait are you saying you haven't seen Captain America, or any of his movies since you saw What's my Number?" Emma asks in shock.

"Hahaha, no I had my own Itunes account I watched them all on my mac book pro. You think I miss his movies, he really is a good actor. He does a lot more good in life too, I seen things in interviews on TV." y/n say.

Emma is laughing at you "y/n your hopeless when it come to that guy I knew it, you like him in that movie Not Another Teen Movie, how many times have you even watched it by now." she says.

"Shut up you idiot and go to sleep, you want to crash here, and watch Avengers Endgame to go to sleep." y/n ask.

"Yes sis like old times" Emma hugs you she just happy to hear you laugh and talking again.

You watching Endgame, Emma fell asleep typical, by now it's 1am Christmas Day. You decided to make your first ever tweet. "Merry Christmas out there to everyone, Hope your day it full of love, laughter. Wishing my old High School friends a great day, Missed you all. You get notification, one, than two, than another and another it's all you old friends.

"Y/N we all heard what happen, your strong, we are all here for you always. We missed you girl and glad your back in Long Island."

Your best friend, Jordyn tweet's y/n I have missed you like crazy these past few years, I can't wait to see you my sister from another mother lol. Oh and typical of you following  ChrisEvans twitter account hope you wished him a Merry Christmas too."

"Jordyn, omg I have missed you we need to get together on boxing day if you can, I'll explain what happened. Ya no I didn't include him that's crazy." you send back to her.

Eventually you fall asleep it the first time you haven't cried to sleep since the wedding day. You go to sleep feeling somewhat happy. You still have your sister's and old friends are reaching out to you. Yes you keep hearing about this covid thing over in China, and spread more across the globe but you figure you'll all be ok. You need to start thinking about your new job as legal assistant at a New York law firm. It will be crazy complete career change, but you wanted to a change. Your looking forward to it though.

You wake in the morning, as you phone made a weird noise, you look and see a like on your Merry Christmas tweet, there's a new comment "so you think is crazy to say Merry Christmas to me, hope you enjoy you day." Your just in shock as the comment says the name Chris Evans, you start digging and looking. After what you been through you trust no one you don't know well, you google information. Start laughing because this Chris Evans account on twitter is missing the blue check mark, and actually says ChrisEvans886723, and bells go off in your head a fake account. You figure out how to block and report it. You go back to sleep for a little while, longer kind of laughing at some people, but part of you feel bad for the real guy. You think ya he famous but he's still a human like everyone else. What you figure will be a one time rare thing and just let it go. You don't realize just what kind of hell is out there, and your just at the beginning.

Eric's POV

He's sitting at a bar with James on Christmas Eve, wondering if he had made huge mistake not marrying you. They are chatting with Connor the closest friend who is about to asking his girlfriend Kaylee to marry him.

"Shit you really going to propose to Kaylee. Hope the wedding isn't in a few years buddy. Y/n is problem pissed at me now." Eric says

"Eric, last Kaylee told me, she moved back him and she's starting over. She hasn't even mentioned you much. I'd be more worried about Kaylee, Jill, Jordyn and her sisters." Connor tells him.

"Ya about Jordyn, um y/n is going to flip out if she finds out." Eric says

James looks at Eric "dude you didn't, seriously with her oldest friend."

"It was once at the bachelorette and bachelor weekend in Vegas. We were drunk. I fucked up and I'm already missing y/n." He says.

James and Conor look at him. "You left her on your wedding day good luck."

"I'm going to get her back she loves me even in the worst of it. I just need your help Connor." He asks.

"Alright Kaylee says yes you can be my best man. But if she flips on me. I got to go with my future wife ok." Connor says.

"Look I got a lot of travelling to do Eric but I'll try do what I can. I'm moving out of the country soon remember. Just whatever you need I'll help." James says.

Eric is confident he will get you back and he has it in his head he will stop at nothing. He already had an idea in his head now that he saw you on twitter and instagram again. He would do anything.

Authors Note: Hope you enjoyed this part and a lot happens in future parts. Just know there is suspense in this story, and the creep Eric isn't done with by a long shot and will be back more than once.
