Y/N and Jill head back to the BBQ your looking around for Chris and Paul but don't see them anywhere. Kaylee and your sister's coming running up to you. Right now your just thinking about talking to Paul and Chris. The last thing you want is Chris hurt in any possible way. The thought of him being hurt is making your eyes water.  Your hoping Paul kept his word and told Chris the truth.

Y/n stop getting so worked up and emotional about Chris. He said we are just friends. Snap out of it, your letting your crush get the better of you. You think to yourself.

"I knew it, so where did you and Paul sneak off too. Had a little making out somewhere?" Kaylee asks al excitedly.

Your rolling your eyes in your head "Omg Kaylee no, I went to talk with Jill. Do you know where Paul went." You ask.

"Awe that's cute your missing him already. Not so fast though, you both said you have been talking online for week's we want the details y/n." Kaylee and your sister all say at once.

you sigh, "I'll tell you a little, what is it that you three want to know?"

"How did this happen?" they ask.

In your head your coming up with ideas thinking fast. You think of the only thing you can think of. "You guys know my boss Matt, he's Chris Evans lawyer right. Well before the pandemic hit and lockdown. We had meetings in the office and Paul came with Chris to the meetings." you lie.

"Wait you mean to tell me you have known him for months?" Kaylee asks.

"Yes we started talking the first meeting. He figured out I was your cousin and is was just friends at first, since he had a girlfriend but it wasn't going well. Once his girlfriend cheated on him and he knew my story we just started talking to each other online texting." you say.

"So is this the first time your seeing him since the meeting in your office?" they ask.

"Well no there was few meetings Chris had before the lockdown." you say.

"Ok Chris had meetings with your boss, you mean Paul was at all of them?" Kaylee asks

"Oh ya, he came I guess Chris wanted an outside opinion on everything." you tell them.

"Jill did you know all about this her and Paul?" Emma asks.

You look over at Jill pleading her to go along with it. She smiles letting you know she's got your back in this lie. You know she going to be questioning you more later. 

"Ya I have even seen them facetime a few times. Their so cute actually." she tells Kaylee.

"Well ok, but why didn't you say anything a month ago to me Jill. I told you guys about this plan to set her and Paul up. I look stupid cause they already knew each other." Kaylee snapped.

"Kaylee don't get upset, I didn't know anything about what you were planning with me and Paul. I asked Jill to keep it quiet for now with everything I have gone through in the past year." you say.

"y/n it's ok, I get you've gone through a lot. I just want to see you happy and Paul is such a sweet guy who deserves to be happy too." she says.

"He really is y/n. Has he done anything sweet for you ever yet?" they ask.

"Ya I can tell you one thing he did before a morning meeting. I was early getting to work and went to grab a coffee for myself and boss. I guess Chris was running behind and Paul was heading in for coffee to. We were only just friends than, but he walked me inside the coffee shop, paid for the drinks and walked me to the office while we talked. That was the moment I knew I liked him more than friends."  You say, upset that you had this moment with Chris not Paul.
