Its been a week and Sydney was still giving me the silent treatment. She mad about absoublty nothing I dont have to tell her everything under the sun just as I dont expect her to do the same.

Right now I was working on who had sent the tape recorder to Sydneys house. I had some of my people on it I thought finding who did it would maybe get Sydney off of defense mode and let her finally breath. But its been 24 hours and nobody has came up with results.

I was looking through these papers when Sydney came down the steps "Goodbye Carter im going to the mall dont wait up." Sydney said walking quickly out the door, she didnt even give me the chance to say anything she lucky im busy.

My phone started ringing I answered " I think I got something."

"Ill be there."

I quickly got into the car headed towards my old trap I miss the lifestyle but shit was getting to hetic the money was nice but in the line of work I was doing I was bound to loose my soul.

I walked in and saw a little boy I recognized but couldnt remember where from. " Wassup Lil man." He nodded a sad smile

"You good?" He shook his head

"My mom she kicked me out." I shook my head

"How old are you."

"Im 13 sir." Damn his mom kicked him out at only 13 years young

" Where have I seen you before." I questioned him

"A while back you had me pick out the knife you were going to use to slit that man throat." I suddenly remembered

"Damn thats right, what you said yo name was again lil man?"

" Im will sir."

"What I tell you about calling me sir."

"Sorry." Will said putting his head down

"I thought I took care of you? Didnt they give you the money to pay the bills?."

"Yea but after you had them stop selling to my mom she went crazy to the point where I bought the drugs for her with the money you gave me for the bills." I shook my head

"Listen wait here after I finsh up ill handle things." He nodded

I went into the back where Chris my informer sat. "I found out who sent that tape recorder and im not sure your going to like it."

"Get to it." I said tired of the suspence

"Stacey sent the tape." Chris said I was confused to how she even got the tape I mean I know her and Sydney beefing or whatever but damn.

"Ill handle it." I said shaking my head the girl is pregnant I aint heartless. I dont know what the fuck Im going to do.

I walked out the room "come with me lil man" Will got up following me out to the car

I just drove my benz today nothing special he stopped with his jaw open "this is a really nice car." will said

"I know man get in." We both got inside the car

"You know the directions to your house?"

"Yea I dont know the names of the streets but I do know the turns."

I nodded "just turn two rights up there and a left and the apartments should be on the right." I nodded again

After ten minutes we finally pulled up the apartments we both got out and it was real poor down here. I been living good for so long I forgot how it used to be. "Alright lead me the way lil man."

He walked up some steps and I was right behind him, he knocked on the door and some man came out pulling up his pants and walked off into another apartment as if we didnt just see him. I shook my head this was fucking crazy. We walked in the apartment and his mother looked awful and the apartment was trashed. "What the fuck are you doing here" she yelled slurring her words

"Hello im Carter I wanna talk to you about you kicking your 13 year old son out onto the streets with no where to go."

"Dont you fucking judge me I cant have him in here, he made those people not sell to me I fucking need my drugs he know that." She said scratching her neck as I looked around I noticed throw up on the floors

"Yo go grab anything you need to get." Will quickly went to the back and brought out just a teddy bear even tho I thought it was weird I didnt say nothing " lets go."

We went out the house his mother was yelling shit but I didnt give af we went back into my car "How would you feel about staying with me for a lil minute?"

" I would love that." I nodded

I dont know what I just got myself into
