I am having my second knee surgery in the beginning of September so I wanted to write a shitpost about events from my first one which I had in January

Nurse: Okay, can you wake up now

Me: *awake but still tired* lemme sleeeeeeeep

Nurse *sarcastically*you wanna take the stairs or the elevator

Me: *gives death glare* what

Nurse:*hopefully joking* a little boy once asked for the stairs so I thought I should ask

Me: * finally falls asleep after not being able to for a while because of the brace*

Mom: *has to wake me up so I can take an Ibuprofen so I won't be in pain tomorrow* sorry baby I need to wake you up

me: *with a very smug look on the inside* hey Savy (my younger sister)can you get me a glass of hot chocolate pleeeeaaassee

Savy: *sigh* sure

Me half a week later: I hate being unable to get out of bed

Physical therapist: It may take a while to get your leg to lift up

Me: I'm trying I promise

Physical therapist: I know you are

Me: talking to random people I know: the one thing that you least expect to miss after a year and a half of watching is gym class

Me: Finally at the band hall good lord my arms burn, *sigh* at least I can't be counted late

So what was wrong was I had a patella dislocation in my left kneecap, causing it to shift to the outer side of my leg ad because of this my brain does not let my inner quad to work properly and so my leg is uneven on top of all that

My first surgery they anchored my kneecap to leg to keep it better in place however after overuse the tendon they used stretched and so we're going with the plan B. However its really difficult to explain as I don't remember his exact wording.
