A few days passed since Neville and Daisy helped each other. Things were how they used to be. Well, only if Daisy was around her friends. If she was alone with Neville, she gave him a sweet smile. He always smiled back.

Daisy was throwing all the dresses she had out of her closet. She was getting ready for Slughorn's party, but she had nothing to wear. Luckily, Pansy was there to help.

"What do you think of this one?"
Pansy grabbed a silk, black dress with a split in it out of het own closet. The dress was perfect.
"Oh my Merlin! Pansy this is amazing! Can i borrow this?" Daisy excitedly said. Pansy smiled at her.
"Ofcourse you can, dear! Here, try it on!" Pansy handed Daisy the dress. Daisy quickly went to try it on.

When she came back, she looked at herself in the mirror. She looked gorgeous: her dark brown hair in a braided bun, her green eyes shining, the black dress fitting her perfectly and a pair of open black heels. She turned to Pansy. Daisy's smile was bigger then it had ever been. Also Pansy was smiling.
"By Merlins beard, Daisy you look amazing!" Pansy said. The two girls hugged each other.
"Now, go on! You have a party to attend to!" Pansy gave Daisy a playful little push. Daisy laughed and waved Pansy good bye.

When Daisy arrived at the party, she saw she was the only one who came alone. She wanted to bring Draco along, but, once again, he had things to do. Daisy couldn't stand  that he wouldn't tell her what was going on. Wasn't she his best friend? And aren't best friends suposed to tell each other everything?

Daisy entered the room and immediatly got overwhelmed by music and the sound of talking people. Professor Slughorn immediatly walked up to Daisy.
"Ah! Hello, Miss Potter! It is wonderful to have you here! I see you haven't brought a friend?" Slughorn said.
"That's true, professor. I don't really had someone to go with, except Draco Malfoy. But he was busy so i came alone." Daisy said smiling. Slughorn just nodded understanding.
"Well than, have fun, Miss Potter!" Slughorn said, before he went back to his conversation. Daisy decided to walk around and see who were here. Then, the Doors opened and Daisy was happy by what she saw: she saw Blaise comming in with Pansy.

Blaise and Pansy noticed Daisy and waved her to come. So, Daisy walked up to them. Daisy hugged them both.
"Hey guys! It's amazing to see you two are here together! Now, we three are together! I was soooo bored!" Daisy excitedly said. Pansy smiled and said: "I was so looking forward to the party! We decided to keep it a secret that i came, to suprise you!"

After like 15 minutes, Daisy said She was going to grab a drink. Pansy and Blaise nodded as Daisy walked away. It took her a while to find the butler holding the drinks, but she finally found him at the other end of the room. Daisy was kinda happy when she saw who the butler was: it was Neville. He was putting new drinks on the plate he was holding.

"Well, well, we meet again." Daisy said. Neville looked up and looked around to see if anyone could hear them. Luckily no one saw or heard them. As soon as he found that out, he looked relieved.
"Hello Daisy! You look stunning!" Neville nervously said. Daisy blushed.
"Well thank you! That butler uniform looks quite good on you, to be honest."
Daisy twirled around so Neville could see the dress better. Neville blushed at the compliment.
"Y-you want a drink?" Neville hold the plate down so Daisy could reach for a drink. Daisy grabbed a drink, thanked Neville and went back to Blaise and Pansy.

"What took you so long?" Pansy asked when Daisy finally got back to them.
"I couldn't find the butler with the drinks! But, i found him!" Daisy hold the drink in front of Pansy's face. Behind her, Granger ran past her, with Harry following her. Daisy didn't think much of it and focused back on her friends.

It only took 30 minutes of the party- as long as Daisy was there -, for Mr Filch to crash the party. He was holding someone by his ear. It was Draco. Draco looked furious.
"I found him snooping around at this floor!" Mr Filch said. Professor Snape, who was also at the party, grabbed Draco by his arm and said: "I'll guide Mister Malfoy to his common room. Right Mister Malfoy?"
"Certainly, professor." Draco replied. Draco pulled his arm out of Snape's grasp. Snape and Draco left the room and the music started again.

What Snape and Draco didn't know, was that Daisy followed them. They were talking about something, but Daisy couldn't really understand them. But, it was something about a task that had to be done. Daisy needed to know what task this conversation was about. She wanted to know it...
