✿ Chapter 11.

Chapter 11: No Arcade

EunHyuk decided he would let it be up to y'all if you wanted to stay in the arcade or not. Since you and Hyun su no longer had to stay in the arcade you where allowed to eat with the others. They got 1 meal a day. This was because ever since the outbreak they were running low on food. And since you couldn't leave, you had to make due with what you had.

You and Hyun su walked into a room where everyone was sitting and eating. Almost immediately everyone's attention shifted to y'all. You picked up a plate and held it out for a lady to put food on it. She scooped some stuff into a ladle and put it on your plate. You bowed at her. For some reason a girl stood up and walked to Hyun su with her plate still in hand. She shyly smiled and held the plate out to Hyun su.

"Would you....Like some of mine?" She asked.

"Tsk" you where surprised that anyone would offer food to what they considered a monster.

"No, it's fine" Hyun su held his plate out to the person serving the food. She put some food on his plate.

You looked over to the other people in the room and they all flinched and scooped their food in their mouths like they haven't eaten in days.

"these spoons aren't helpful at all" one man said. "Your right, it'll be faster just to drink it" another agreed.

You looked down and started to walk out of the room. Hyun su followed. You stopped outside the door when you heard the lady that gave you food say "Who are you to stare at them like that" to the boys.

"I can't help it you know" one boy replied.

You scoffed. Hyun su put his hand on your shoulder. "Don't let them bother you" he said with a small smile. You smiled and gave him a little nod. "Ok" you said.

Y'all walked around looking for a place to eat and found a table with no one at it. So you and Hyun su sat down.

"Hyun su, do you think that we are just being used for other people to get what they want?" You asked scooping food onto a spoon.

He looked at you. "I hope not" he said sad. You huffed and then heard footsteps.

The old man with the cross bow, Mr.An, walk up to the table and sit on it. You looked at him. He started eating and slurping up all his food.

A few minutes go by of awkward silence when the old man slammed his plate on the table and let's out a full moan.

"That was a nice meal" he said. You huffed.

The old man burped. "What's wrong with y'all, everyone's uncomfortable around yall" he said. "Be comfortable alone at least" .

You let out a sarcastic laugh. "You want us to be comfortable alone? You interrupted us" you looked at him. The man smiled but something else caught his attention.

"Why do you have those scars on your arm?" He said pointing at Hyun su. You gently grabbed Hyun Su's sleeve and pulled it over his scars.

The man looked at you. "I can't back down from a challenge" he Lifted his shirt to show a huge backwards L scar. You and Hyun su looked at it. "What do you think? Do I scare ya?" He said trying to sound all manly. Then lowered his shirt.

"There wasn't a single healthy organ inside my body" he said. "The stupid doctor told me I couldn't even last 6 months. I made him look like a quack" the man chuckled. "By living this long, Should I tell you my secret?" He asked looking at you.

You didn't say anything. He huffed "My secret is eating well, you punks." He smiled. "Just gobble up your food, look you haven't even eaten any" he pointed at you and Hyun Su's plates. "We are all struggling to eat and survive, you know." .

You shoved some food in your mouth. As did Hyun su. The man smiled at you. Then got up and left since he had finished his food.

You EunHyuk and Hyun su started to load some stuff into a room. When one of the people came into the room.

"did you think I wouldn't notice if you ran away?" He asked mad. "Give me my share!!" He tried to steal some stuff out of the boxes.

You slapped him. He looked at you and yelled "Fuck! I can't trust anyone anymore!"

"Calm down, let's talk!" You yelled back trying to make him calm down. He slammed you into a wall.

"You shit, don't touch me!" He yelled. He pulled out a box cutter and held it to your throat. "I'm not going to die here like this" he said.

You gulped trying you walk further back but a wall was stopping you from it. "I'm going to leave by myself. You! Give me the car keys" he looked at EunHyuk. "Give me the keys ass whole!" He yelled.

Hyun su walked infront of him and shoved him on the ground making the man drop the box cutter. He picked him up and through him on the ground outside of the room into the main hallway where the entrance to the building is. "Why don't you go out their then?".

The man on the ground started to have a tantrum kicking and screaming. "You don't know how it feels!" He yelled. "To have your life in someone else's hands!".

"What are you doing. Your going to act like this infront of the kids?" Mr.An said. Their was now a crowd of people.

"why does it matter age! We all are going to die!!!" The man continued to scream. Everything stayed quiet.

You walked up to the man and squatted infront of him. "No, not all of us. People like you who act stupid out of fear are the ones who die first." you said in a rude voice. Then stud up and walked away.

Du-Sik was in the garage working on a car so that y'all can leave safely and gather more stuff to survive.

"Hang on 4 eyes. Who is going then" a man asked. You Chuckled at the nickname.

"It's an important mission. So the ones most likely to succeed will go." He looked at you and Hyun su. Your grabbed Hyun Su's hand and squeezed it.
