Chapter 15: Coexist

The man Infront of y'all picked up the paper. You looked at the man closer. His eyes where dark and glossy. He had blood splatters all over his face. But he looked so calm.

For some reason, it made it seem like everything was ok. Until you realized what he had just done. He looked hyun su deep in the eyes and touched his shoulder.

"It must...hurt" he said. "I know how it feels. You can never get used to it. " He said so calmy.

"Why did you kill him" you asked. He looked at you. And slowly turned his head.

"I thought you'd be greatful". He said smiling.

"You where on the same side" you replied. The man started laughing. His hand raised to his mouth. Blood still dripping from it.

"How could... A wolf and a rabbit be on the same side?" He said chuckling. "The rabbit was pretending to be a wolf. Soo I just played along" he said smiling.

"But there is no need for that now. It's not a crime for a wolf to kill a rabbit after playing with it" he laughed evily after saying that. "That's just natural in this world now" his face went still.

Something was off with this guy. You could feel it. If he turned against them. Who know if he turns against y'all. "There are monsters that don't... Harm humans" hyun su said.

Hyun su lead you and the man back to the big fetus in room 1408. "Woah, I've never seen such a thing. " He said shocked.

"No dip dumbass. Non of us have!" You said under your breath.

"It can't kill anything in this state" hyun su said. "Ok, I can see that there's a monster that doesn't harm humans. But will.... There be humans that don't harm monsters" the man said.

You gulped thinking about it. The words let left his mouth. He handed hyun su the paper. You grabbed it and read it. We guarantee the safety of anyone who reports a special INFECTEE. You will be transferred to a safe camp. You read. You looked at hyun su. "Remember what the one girl said in the arcade. If they turn us in. We will be turned into sacrificed, test dummies for the government" you said scared.

The man looked at you. "Exactly". You began to start to trust the man. For who know what will happen to you and hyun su.

"Do you still think those people you're trying to protect will welcome y'all after reading this?" The man asked.

You looked at hyun su. He looked down. "So what do you think? Which side will you bet on?" He moved closer to y'all.

Y'all headed back downstairs. You held hyun su's hand. Honestly scared for what will happen when you walk through those doors. He held your tight. "I will protect you y/n. No matter what it costs me" he said.

"And I will protect you. No matter what happens to me" you replied. You looked at the elevator number as each counted down. 9. 8. 7. Your heart now beating faster.

hyun su's grip around your hand tightens.

the elevator door dinged. And opened.

Everyone was staring at y'all. Surrounding y'all with guns. They saw it was just y'all. But they still held up the guns and weapons. The only one that dropped there weapon was Eunyu.

Hyun su held on tight to your hand and stepped out of the elevator. Everyone still had there weapons drown. They itched closer. And closer to y'all.

Hyun su put you behind him. "Hyun su. What condition are yall in?" The  girl that met the government asked.

"Did I win?" The man still in the elevator asked. You looked back at him now believing and trusting him.

"they are ok" Eunhyuk said. The man in the elevator walked out and beside y'all. Everyone looked at him.

"That's unexpected" he said. He grabbed the barrel of the girls gun and pointed it to the floor.

"Don't move!" The sangwook said.

"Those things cant kill me" the man said.

"don't worry about that I'll find a way to kill you when I need to" sangwook said.

"Hyun su, y/n, are you ok?" Eunyu asked. Hyun su nodded.

"Y'all come over here" Eunyu said not trusting the man behind yall. They Did trust you....

Hyun su stood Infront of the gun sangwook was holding at the man.

"Put that away" hyun su ordered. "He saved me. He saved. Us" he pulled you towards him.

"think about what they did!" A survivor said.

"Hyun su, y/n..." another said.

"He killed his own team" another said.

"Do you trust him?" another asked.

"Do you trust me?" Hyun su asked. "He is like us" he added.

"So put the damn guns down" you said demanding. Everyone lowered there guns. You walked past all of them and to the arcade.

You began to hyperventilate and your lungs felt like they filled with knifes. Your breath began to get weaker and harder. And your vision became blurry. You feel to the floor as your eyes filled with water. You gasped for air over and over. You couldn't breath. It felt like someone was sitting on your stomach and not getting up.

Your eyes flooded with tears that stained your cheeks. And your soft whimpers filled the room. You heard the door open.

"Y/n" a familiar voice said. Hyun su looked down at you and ran over to you. He pick you up and set you in his lap. "Shhhh, it's ok y/n. I'm here. I'm right here. Focus on me" he said. You looked at his face. He looked so worried. "How many finger am I holding up?" He asked.

You looked at his fingers. "The. Three" you said. "good job" he smiled.

Y'all continued to do that until your breathing slowed down. Your face was stained with tears and your eyes where puffy. Your chest hurt from how much you're body panicked.

Hyun su held you close. "It's ok y/n. I'm not leaving. I pinky swear you that" he said kissing your forehead. You looked at his face and pulled it closer. And kissed his soft poutful lips. "Don't leave" you said.

"I won't"
