Who Are You? – RAIGN
—————•—————Dearest Diary,
It's been a little over a week since the death of Nick Fury and they haven't locked me in an ice box yet, that means they've got bigger plans than the death of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s director right now.
As it turned out, I was right.
This morning I was informed that our agent, Jasper Sitwell, was taken by three superheroes living in America that belong to a group called The Avengers. They told me that their tactics at getting information from people are good and that Sitwell probably already spilled the information on Project: Insight.
In other words, Sitwell is useless and must be terminated.
Thus, my first kill order fell upon HYDRA Agent, Jasper Sitwell.
Later in the conversation, I was informed of a key member to this S.H.I.E.L.D.-Avengers operation, a man under the alias Captain America. He may not outwardly appear as the most dangerous, but they made sure to detail the fact that he, of all people, would come the closest to rivaling my abilities.
That statement immediately brought me back to June 30th when I shot Nick Fury... it made me remember the man from the roof who felt like me somehow.
HYDRA told me Captain America would not stop at anything to prevent the launch of Project: Insight, so it was my job to take that weight off his shoulders by killing him.
Thus, my second kill order fell upon Avengers member, Captain America.
My third and fourth kill orders then fell upon his companions.
With 16 hours to the launch of Project: Insight, I was sent to the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, which was a bridge leading over the Cuyahoga River to the Triskelion, which is where HYDRA has lived inside S.H.I.E.L.D. recently.
Rumlow managed to get me information that the three Avengers, including my targets Captain America and Jasper Sitwell, were en-route to disable the project. I was sent out immediately so that I should catch up to them before it was too late.
----------
I was dropped from above, landing on top of their vehicle with a thud from my HYDRA-provided airplane. Without a second thought, I reached into the driver-side back-seat and pulled Jasper Sitwell out through the window with my metal arm, immediately proceeding to throw him into the fast-moving traffic on the other side of the highway traveling in the other direction. He was crushed beneath a tractor trailer.
Getting back on top of the car, I pulled my handgun out and started shooting through the metal roofing. One, two, three shots before the car stopped short and I was thrown into the air and onto the road ahead. To stop myself from tumbling and hurting myself, I dug my metal fingertips into the ground and caught myself, sparks flying up from the pavement as a reaction.
Once I stood, I looked through the front windshield to see who I was fighting: it was Captain America as well as a ginger haired woman I was informed used the alias Black Widow, and the man behind the wheel was someone I was told used the alias The Falcon.
Black Widow drew a hand-gun, but before she could fire it, HYDRA's ramming truck drove up from behind them and started pushing their car closer to me and forcing her to drop the gun.
As soon as I was only a few feet away, I propelled myself into the air and landed on the roof of their car anew. The air filled with the sound of screeching tires and burning rubber as The Falcon pressed hard on the brakes. I reached through the windshield and grabbed the steering wheel from his grasp, only to throw it to the side of the road.
