"DON'T you think it will be more risky if he will stay at your house? I mean, your dads are business partners. Won't your dad tell Nero's parents about this?" Cass asked Ignis.
Tumango-tango ang iba na mukhang nakukuha ang punto ni Cassandra. Ignis grabbed his phone but was still listening to them.
"Pumapayag naman sina Tito Xher at Tita Kimberley na magsleep-over si Nero rito, 'di ba?" Nixx asked while checking something on her phone.
Malapit na ang gaganaping event sa school nila kaya nagiging busy na siya sa pag-aasikaso ng mga bagay-bagay. Lalo na't siya ang vice president ng student council.
"Oo, pero hindi sa ganiyang lagay." Christy looked at Nero from head to toe. She grimaced when she saw his bruises and small cuts again. His uniform was also dirty making it more obvious.
"Wala ka bang jacket d'yan? Sweater? Hoodie? Cardigan? Kahit anong mahaba ang sleeves para lang matakpan braso ko." He sounded like he was desperate to stay at Rex's rather than Ignis'.
Rex sighed. "Bago magday-off si yaya, nilalabahan na niya lahat ng labahin dito kaya malamang bagong laba lang ang mga 'yon. Ang kaso nga lang, nagkataon namang sira 'yung dryer namin. Basa pa siguro ang mga 'yon."
"At kung meron man pwedeng ipahiram sa'yo si Rex, paano naman 'yang mga pasa sa mukha mo? Pan'o mo maitatago ang mga 'yan?" Tanong ni Andrei na dumagdag pa sa pinoproblema nila.
Ignis slid his phone back to his pocket and suddenly interjects. "Will you trust me, Tubig?"
Nero looked back at him. He stared at him and unconsciously answered. "Yes."
Although he unconsciously said that, it still sounded doubtless. There was just something in Ignis that he can easily give in and risk everything because it's him. It's Ignis. It's his Apoy.
Ignis nodded. "Good. You'll stay for a night at our house and everything is under control. Arasseo?"
Besides from Christy, they all looked confused. And Ignis noticed it.
"Oh, mianhae-- I mean, I'm sorry. Arasseo just means okay or understand." Natatawang paliwanag nito.
Andrei grabbed his keys then walked to the door. "Gaja."
Tatawa-tawa nilang sinundan si Andrei palabas. They knew what it means because Ignis says that oftenly. It means 'let's go' in Korean.
"Hindi ka na kasama, ha." Tinuro niya si Rex nang makita itong sumama palabas. "Sikip na. Taba mo pa naman."
"'Namo! Wala naman akong sinabi na sasama ako, kalansay!"
Andrei just showed a mocking face to him.
Matapos asarin si Rex ay bumaling ito sa iba pa niyang kaibigan. "Teka, baka mamaya may machine gun nanaman pag-uwi ko."
Anito at tumakbo papunta sa bahay nila. Alam nila na magpapaalam lang ito sa mga magulang niya. Andrei has always been like that. Mabilis naman siyang nakabalik at pagkatapos ay sumakay na sila sa kotse. When they looked back at Rex to wave goodbye, they laughed when a begging look was plastered on his face.
Andrei tsked. "D'yan ako tutulog. Pumasok ka na ro'n."
Pinakita ni Rex ang kamao niya. "Sapakan 'pag talkshit, ha?"
