Falling Unexpectedly (Ongoing)

Chapter 25

Ang sinag ng araw na tumatama sa mukha ni Nero ang gumising sa kaniya nang dumating ang umaga.

Nang buksan niya ang kaniyang mga mata, bumungad ang isang tanawin na paulit-ulit niyang gugustuhing makita sa bawat paggising niya.

He moved his arm and reached for Ignis' face. He caressed his cheek using his thumb and smiled like a guy that was foolishly in love.

At sa puntong iyon, kusang bumukas ang bibig niya at ang puso niya ang nagsalita para sa kaniya.

"Gusto kita." He said in his deep morning voice while staring at Ignis. He chuckled when he got a light snore as a response.

Hindi siya tanga para hindi ito mapansin. Sa mga epekto pa lang ni Ignis sa kaniya, alam na niyang higit pa sa pagkakaibigan ang nararamdaman niya para sa binata.

Pero mas hihilingin niyang hanggang doon na lang. Na gusto niya si Ignis. Ayaw niyang lumago pa ito na pwedeng maging sanhi ng pagkasira ng pagkakaibigan nila.

He grabbed his phone from the bedside table then took a picture of the sight he was seeing.

The sight to be seen had messy hair and his lips was a bit parted. He may look like a mess that time but to Nero, he was still the cutest. He set it as his phone's home screen wallpaper without knowing that Ignis actually did the same last night.

He slowly got off of bed and went to the bathroom quietly. He washed his face, brushed his teeth using the new toothbrush that he also used last night and he also cleaned his cut.

When he went out of the bathroom, Ignis was still in slumber so Nero didn't bother to wake him up. He went downstairs to cook their breakfast.

Nang makarating siya sa kusina ay isang papel na nakaipit sa magnet sa ref ang nakaagaw sa pansin niya.

Morning, Nero. I know you'll wake up before that sleepyhead but anyways, I'm probably at work now that you're reading this. I didn't cook breakfast for the two of you because I know how Ignis loves your cooking. Just take care of Ignis for me and have fun. You can stay there as long as you want. –The most handsome dad.

Nangingiti siyang umiling-iling at nagsimula nang magluto. And as he cooked their food, he was grinning from ear to ear that didn't left his face.

He cooked fried rice, egg, hotdog and bacon for them. Ipinagtimpla rin niya ng kape si Ignis at sa kaniya naman ay gatas.

He went upstairs to fetch Ignis. When he got to his room, he was still sleeping just as expected. Nilapitan niya ito at niyugyog ang balikat dahil ayaw niyang malipasan ito ng gutom.

"Wake up, Apoy. Breakfast is ready."

Ignis just groaned and covered himself with his comforter.

"H'wag mong paghintayin ang pagkain, Ignis." Kunwari'y pagalit na anito. He tried to take off the comforter but Ignis tightened his hold onto it.

"Come on, I made the breakfast! Do you want to waste my efforts, huh?" He tried to sound like he was sulking to try his luck.

He doesn't know if it was because he said that it was him who made it or because of the sulking tone. But either way, it worked like a charm.

Tinanggal ni Ignis ang nakatalukbong sa kaniyang comforter at tumitig sa kaniya.

"Hindi basta-basta mga galaw niyo kahapon ni Rex, eh. Bakit gano'n na lang kadali sa inyong patumbahin 'yon sila?" Tanong nito na hindi inaasahan ni Nero.

"Ah..." Nag-alangan pa siya kung sasabihin niya ito kay Ignis o hindi inisip niyang baka ma-badshot pa siya rito. Kaso wala rin naman siyang balak umamin kaya sa huli ay sinabi niya na rin.
