Today was the beginning of school for Trevor and Gabe. Although, it is the middle of the term for the rest of the school.

"Ugh... I can't believe I'm being demoted! Can you? I mean look at me, do I look like the type of guy who deserves to get demoted?" Gabe groaned as the boys walk to school.

"Yes, you do seem like the kind of guy," Trevor replied which earned him an eye roll from Gabe.

"Geez, when I rant about these types of things to you, you got to be on my side,"

That was their conversation as they were walking to school and it wasn't long until they were met with the great entrance of the school. The area was bustling with kids of all ages. There were a lot of tables and chairs around to sit in and hang out during recess, a giant basketball court you could see in the distance tucked away behind a couple of trees and a massive courtyard. The school was definitely bigger than they thought. But..... their school back home, was still bigger. They needed to fit several rooms to cater for kids with different abilities. There were ranks back there. Different ranks take you to different classes.

"Looks like we have enough time to find our lockers, classes for the day and explore a bit," Trevor said looking at his watch.

"Cool, I guess but I still do prefer staying at the house all day."

The boys like to refer to the building that they were staying in "The House".

But as they were about to walk into the school, their watches started to vibrate. They looked at each other while silently counting the buzzes. Yep, it was 3 buzzes alright.

"Sigh, so much for being on time," Trevor groaned.

"C'mon," Gabe said pulling Trevor into a bush and hiding away from the crowd.

Once they secured their hiding spot making sure no one was looking, they tapped on their watch. Instantly a GPS screen appeared on their watches showing a red dot moving quickly across the street.

The boys nodded at each other and tapped the watch again to put on their suit. By that time, the school bell already rang and the bustling students were all gone. Their suit had appeared in a flash.

Their suit was sleek black and they had a mask to hide their identity. They felt like ninjas. Although, ninjas don't wear tight clothing like superheroes. So I guess... "Superninjas".

"Ok brainy, what is the plan? How are we going to get there? I mean we could run but that wouldn't be very heroic and besides, you can't run as fast as me." Gabe asked.

"Well, I'm glad you asked because I got just the gadget." Trevor pulled out two graphite cylinders. "Don't be fulled by the material, they are very durable. Each of these has to grappling hook at either end of it and is activated by pressure sensitivity. By applying a certain amount of pressure, you can extend, contract and choose whether you want to activate one or two of the grappling hooks. Oh and almost forgot to mention that they can also act as mini harpoons."

"When did you make this?" Gabe asked clearly amazed.

"When I was waiting for you in the bathroom. Which is an issue that I will discuss with you after this mission. Let's go!"

The pressure sensitivity idea was amazing. The gadget is lightweight and durable and has a magnetic attachment to the waist belt, but it is really easy to control and use. Which allowed Gabe and Trevor to swing effortlessly across the tall buildings.

In no time, they were at their destination. The red dot on their watch was right below their feet. They were at the bank. Both the boys decided to attach their gadgets to their belts which allows them to act as a Bungie for them to hang on. They were above ground. Unnoticeable unless someone looks up.

The boys had no idea what to expect. The street was quite still as it is during office hours. They were about to give up and head back to school when......

Alarms were sounding everywhere. People screaming, guns shooting. Gabe and Trevor looked at each other and nodded before dropping themselves to the ground and running toward the building entrance, but before they could reach the entrance, a group of 7 strong men in masks came running out of the bank.

Gabe and Trevor took this cue to chase after the group. Trevor used his gadget to trip the first two men who were carrying the sacks of money. Which seems to startle the others. They were about to turn around when Gabe came out of nowhere and blocked their exit.

"Kids, if you want to play heroes, you're going to get hurt. So I suggest getting out of our way before the cops show up," Their leader said. He was a big man. Much bigger and muscular than the others. The others grunt in agreement.

But Gabe and Trevor stayed right where they were. Not even flinching.

"Alright then, you brought it upon yourselves. Men, ATTACK! and make sure to leave them half dead so that next time they see us, they'll think twice before playing hero again!"

And with that, the men dropped their sacks of cash and charged towards the boys. Two were after Gabe and two after Trevor. Their leader standing still while watching the battle laughing wildly to himself. Although the men were twice the size of the boys, there wasn't even a glint of fear in their eyes.

Trevor used his gadget in harpoon mode and pierced it through one of the man's legs. He fell to the ground screaming in agony. The other man attempted to punch Trevor in the face but missed. Trevor then used his elbow and as hard as he could stab it into his attacker's ribs. There was a "crack" sound before the second man was down.

"I learnt that in school where I had to defend myself from bullies," Trevor said proudly.

Meanwhile, Gabe just stood still. The men started closing the gap between them. One tried to throw a punch. Literally less than one centimetre away from his face before Gabe dodged the punches being thrown at him. Everything was happening so quickly, it was quite hard to tell what was really happening because ten seconds later both unconscious men were lying on the ground.

The leader was shocked for a moment before turning furious. His face was turning red and he was grinding his teeth. Clearly not very happy that he was being beaten by children. He ran at full speed in the direction of Trevor. But he didn't even move the slightest bit because before his punch landed on him, he tripped and fell to the ground hitting his jaw hard. Gabe tripped him. Gabe managed to absorb the leader's energy and amplifying it to his advantage.

"Pound me!" Gabe said to Trevor then fist-bumping him.

It wasn't long until they heard the police and ambulance sirens coming their way.

"Well, I guess our job here is done," Trevor said before he and Gabe swang out of sight.
