Gabe and the now awake Trevor were now alone in the room. Gabe had almost forgotten about his wound. He was so preoccupied about all the events of the day that when reminded, he now winced at the pain as he applied his bandages round and round his bruised torso and bleeding head.

"Fred would get me healed up, he has the ailment," he thought. Then, tapped on his watch to change his clothes.

"You definitely got to catch me up on this," said Trevor stretching himself.

"Did you just change?" Ron came back in a minute later puzzled. He held an ice pack over his head. "Never mind, you two, follow me." He motioned.

Gabe followed Ron through the hallway of the house and down into the basement.

The basement was magnificent. There was a large glass case on one of the walls. In it contained one of the most realistic pair of battle armours Gabe and Trevor had ever seen. Brass plating, gleaming under the artificial light. The engravings looked ancient but the suits were in impeccable condition.

There were heaps of junk in one corner and a half build machine. Desks, overhead lights, a supercomputer with several large monitors and some office styled chairs.

The entire area looked nothing like a normal basement. It looked like any superhero's headquarters you see in movies. It was breathtaking.

In one corner, Maddison sat wiping a giant shield. Ron grunted to get her attention and as her eyes looked up, her sword vanished into thin air. She neatly tucked the cloth that she was using to wipe her sword into her pocket. She got up and strode over to them.

"I knew that there was something fishy about the both of you," Maddison's eyes narrowed, arms crossed. Trevor began backing away but was blocked by Ron. "Now tell me, who are you? I already know that you're not from here so no point in lying."

Trevor glanced at Gabe, Ron and Maddison surveying his surroundings.

"Gabriell Montaz," he answered pointing at himself. "and Travis Lader." Pointing at Trevor.

Maddison gave a satisfactory smile and backed away. "Now be good boys and answer this. Were you or were you not involved with the case at sea that came out in the papers?"

"Yes," Gabe answered and began thoroughly scanning the room.

"I knew it," Maddison clenched her fist in triumph.

Gabe's eyes landed on the glass case containing the suits with the ancient engravings. "Sword, shield, brass armour," he mumbled almost inaudible.

Trevor caught on Gabe's thoughts as he saw his expression as he eyed the case and he too mumbled, "Brave Heart," but a little louder.

"What are you two mumbling?" Ron said raising his voice.

"Brave Heart was here," Trevor trembled. Heart pounding and racing.

"You are Brave Heart," Gabe said when sudden realization dawned on him.

At this, both Trevor and Gabe bowed.

"Get up, both of you," Maddison commanded and they followed. "Yes, I am Brave Heart. You shouldn't be surprised ."

"You're younger than we pictured."

"What are you talking about? Surely you must have seen me before when Ron and I slayed Balthazar."

"We were never around milady," spoke Trevor with his hands on his back and standing tall.

"Surely you must have. As you and I are around the same age and what is with the formalities?"

"You were about to be knighted before you vanished," Gabe answered.

"By King Arthur the Third?" Maddison inquired

"Yes, milady," Trevor replied.

"He sent you then?" Ron said.

"No, milady. He is no longer around."

" Prince Harith or maybe Prince Reuben?"

"Who?" questioned Gabe.

"WHO!?" bellowed Ron. "Shame on you! They are the rulers of the land you fool. How can you not know?"

"They too are no more," Trevor said in his still stiff posture.

Maddison gave out a gasp covering her mouth with her hands shocked.

"Impossible! They were only a few years older than me," Ron thundered. "Who rules the land now?"

"Henry Cadogan the 85th king," Trevor stated.

"85th? It was the 7th four years ago." Maddison faltered.

"Four years ago?" Gabe pressed.

"Mila-"

"Quit with the formalities Trevor or Travis whatever your name is. Tell me what's going on."

"Holy-moly!" Gabe exclaimed.

"What is it!?" Ron and Maddison demanded in unison.

Trevor licked at his lip. "Are you sure?" he cautioned.

"Tell us."

Trevor sucked in a breath. "Maddison and Ron, it has been 2000 years since your disappearance."
