Horrible Flirt (Leo x Usagi)

Donnie's POV

I'm going to be honest. Leo is a complete idiot. He'd argue otherwise of course. Maybe you would too for whatever reason. But he's convinced he had it all laid out for him. See, Leo sorta slipped that he had a not-so-small crush on Usagi to me while we were hanging out one night. I asked him what he was going to do about it and if he needed any advice. He just laughed and told me his flirting skills were "on point". He even told me that if we were allowed up on the surface, girls, boys, everyone would be all over him. I had to remind him that, for one, if anyone were to see us, they'd probably die of a heart attack before they could catch any feelings. And two, he was not as smooth as he thought he was. He refused to take me seriously. So I made a bet with him. If he couldn't charm Usagi with his so-called "flirtatious skills" by the end of the day, he had to confess his feelings. If he could charm him, then Usagi and him would most likely get together. It was a win win situation. I knew for a fact that Usagi liked him back. I can tell by the way he looks at Leo when he thinks no one is watching. I wasn't gaining anything from our bet really. I didn't need to though. I was only doing it to give Leo the extra push he needed. He could scream at the top of his lungs on the highest mountain how great he is at swooning others. But it didn't mean he'd actually go through with it. He alwaysed chickened out last second. He said he was just waiting for the right moment. Yeah, okay. He's so bad at lying. But yeah, this is all for his sake. He needed to get together with Usagi soon before I exploded from anticipation. I feel like a female middle schooler who's way too into shipping.

Anyway, I'm currently watching Leo from the couch with a grin as he marches up to Usagi in his first attempt to flirt.

"Hey hunny bunny" Leo said to him before glancing over at me. He was trying to keep his cool. But his cheecks were already turning pink.

"I- wha-" Usagi said a bit flustered. "Did you just call me...hunny bunny?"

Leo's nervous smile grew wider. "Sure did...cutie" he said through clentched teeth.

Usagi looked concerned. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked.

"Oh absolutely" he said stepping closer. "I just came here to say that you look like-SHIT!" He yelped as he slipped on a banana peel and crashed to the floor. Oh god. I hid behind my comic book in second hand embarrassment.

"Woops, sorry bro!" Mikey shouted from the kitchen. He came out dressed in a chefs hat and apron while holding a bowl of...something he was mixing up. "Baking got a little intense" He said referring to the mess. "I'm making banana bread, banana muffins, and chocolate chip cookies!" He chirped.

Leo groaned and held his head as he sat up.
"Are you alright, Leo?" Usagi asked holding out a paw.

Leo blushed and allowed Usagi to help him up. "Yeah, I-I'm fine" he said.

"What were you saying earlier?" His bunny friend asked.

"O-oh, nothing. Just forget it" Leo said quickly walking away. I heard a door slam shut a few moments later. I got up and went straight to his room. I walked in and found Leo face down on his bed.

"Wow...that was..." I started.

"Pathetic" He said in a muffled voice. He lifted his head. "You were right Donnie. I'm such a dork" His face landed back in his bed as the last word left his mouth.

"Well, yeah, you are a dork" I said.

"HEY!" He whined looking up at me.

"What?! You are! You said so yourself! But they're isn't anything wrong with that. It's just who you are. A goofy dork. I couldn't imagine you any other way" I said smiling.
