Leo's POV

I whistled a made up tune to myself as I swept the floors of the dojo. I hated chores. I usually do everything I could to avoid them. But for some reason whenever it came time to clean up after a training session with Usagi, I found my spirits to be lifted. Just being in the same room as him made me 3x happier than usual.

I used to wonder why that was. At first I just told myself it was because he was my bestest friend in the whole world. That I just cared about him a whole lot.

But I couldn't hide from the truth forever. Eventually I had to face the fact that I, Leonardo, was in love with him. There, I said it. I'm in love with Usagi. How could I not be though? He's wise. He's kind. He always knows what to say. He's always there for me. And he's just down right adorable. I loved it whenever his soft white fur would brush against me. I wondered what it would be like to run my fingers through the little floofy part on the top of his head. Oh, And his sneezes! He has the cutest little bunny sneezes. He hates when I bring it up though. He's so cute even when he's mad. I just adore him.

But it didn't matter. It's not like he'd ever return those feelings...

I sighed as I swept up my small pile of dirt into the dustpan. My once light hearted mood now crushed by reality. I looked up to see that Usagi was putting the rolled up mats away in the supply closet. I watched as he dug around for the mop and cleaning rags for the windows. How was he so darn beautiful doing just about anything?
I stood up and threw the dirt away and was putting the broom back as Usagi made his way over to the windows.

"Ugh!" I heard him groan.

"What's up?" I asked looking over to him.

"I forgot about the bucket. Could you do me a favor and go fill it up please?" He asked.

I saluted him. "Sure thing boss!" I ran over to the closet and grabbed the bucket. Then headed out to the well just outside the dojo.

As I lowered the bucket into the well, I thought about the wishes I would make if I had coins on me. Maybe I'd wish for the biggest pizza ever. Or maybe a new unicorn onsie? Ooh! I could really go for a slushie right now.

I sighed.  Okay...to be honest, if I really could make a wish, I'd wish to kiss Usagi. Even if it was just one time...

I pull the bucket back up speedy quick trying to brush away my thoughts. There was no way in hell that would happen anyways. The bucket reaches the top and I grabbed it by the handle before freeing it from the rope. I then head back inside.

"Here I come to save the day!" I shouted as I ran across the dojo. Usagi looked over to me and chuckled. Just as I was a few feet away from him, I tripped. Over my own feet. Because of course my clumsy ass would do something as stupid as that. My arms flew into the air and lost grip of the bucket as I was falling.

"Leo!" Usagi called out. Quick as wink he was infront of me. Unfortunately for him he couldn't stop me, so we both fell to the ground with me on top...and my lips connected to his. I didn't pull away at first. I was too shocked to even think. Then the bucket came crashing down next to us, splashing the rest of the water onto us. I gasped and sat up still on top of him and put my hands over my mouth.

It was silent as we both just stared at eachother. Faces red and trying to process what on earth just happened.

"Oh my gosh-" I finally spoke. "Usagi, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to!" I hid my face behind my hands. "Ugh! I shouldn't have made that stupid wish at the wishing well!"

Usagi sat up while keeping his legs under me. "What was that?" He asked in a tone I've never heard from him before. It was soft and low enough to send a chill up my spine. I dragged my hands down my face and let out a nervous laugh.

"It's nothing. I uh...just made a stupid wish is all" I mumbled.

Usagi placed a hand on the back of my head and brought me closer until our faces were less than an inch apart. "Did you make a wish to kiss me?" He asked in that same low voice of his. I could feel his breath brush against my lips.

I gulped. "Y-yeah" I stuttered as my whole face heated up like an oven.

He smirked. "Wish granted".

"Wha-" Before I could even start my sentence Usagi pulled me in for another kiss. I tensed up at first out of surprise. But quickly melted into his touch and eagerly kissed back. My hands rested on his shoulders as he wrapped his arms around my waist. The kiss lasted a bit longer than the first (unintentional) one. When we finally did break the kiss Usagi giggled.

"What?" I asked blushing.

"Nothing" he said shaking his head. "You're just cute".

"Oh shush you. You're the cute one!" I said pointing at him. I noticed a strand of wet hair covering his adorable face. I brushed it aside with my fingers. "Sorry I dropped the bucket" I giggled.

He shrugged. "No worries," he walked his fingers up my arm. "I got something good out of the situation".
I let out a squeak and burried my face in his shoulder. He laughed and hugged me. "I love you so much" he said sweetly.

I smiled. "I love you too". I pulled away to look at him. "Can...can I have another kiss?" I asked playing with my hands.

"Hmmm, sure. After you help me clean up" he teased.

"Aweee!" I whined.

He giggled and stood up, then helped me to my feet. "Well, hurry up and you'll get your kiss" he said grabbing the mop. I snatched the bucket and sprinted outside to fetch more water, earning an amused laugh from the bunny. I smiled to myself. I guess whishes really do come true sometimes.
