I'm not going anywhere (Leo x Usagi)

"Krang, leave him out of this!" Leo shouted desperately. "It's me you want, not him!".

The ugly monster holding his dear friend just laughed. His piercing eyes felt like they were staring right through Leo's soul. He held up the white rabbit In his grasp and squeezed. Usagi cried out and Leo's heart skipped a beat.

"USUAGI!"

Usagi looked up and their eyes met.

"Leo!" Usagi whispered. It was all he could get out.

And then there was the sound that made Leo stop breathing. The sounds of bones. Bones being crushed. Blood came pooling out of Usagis mouth. And then his eyes went dull.

"No..." Leo said breathlessly. Krang laughed again, and dropped Usagi who fell like a rag doll. Usagis lifeless eyes were still looking into Leo's.

"USAGI!" Leo cried out. "NO, NO, NO, NO! YOU CANT BE DEAD!"

"Oh but he is" Krang hissed. "You were too weak to save him. And now you're next!"

Leo tired to move. But his body remained mostionless, as if he were a statue. He couldn't look away from Usagi. Not even when the Krang launched himself at him, wrapping his world into darkness immediately after.

Leo sprung out of his bed with a gasp, falling off the mattress in the process and crashing on the floor. His teary eyes darted around the dark room as he breathed heavily. The door creaked, causing him to jump.

"Leo?" A familiar voice spoke softly. It was Usagi. Leo looked over at his friend as the tears escaped him. "Oh my gosh, Leo, what's wrong?!" His white rabbit friend rushed into the room and kneeled down by his side. "Are you hurt?".

Leo clung to Usagis kimono as he cried. "The-the Krang, he got you, I-I thought I lost you!"

Usagi quickly put the pieces together and realized his scared friend had just awoken from a nightmare. He pulled Leo into his arms and pet the top of his head in an attempt to sooth him. "It's okay, Leo. It was just a dream. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere".

Leo took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as he closed his eyes. His muscles relaxed in Usagis warm embrace. His face rested against his soft and fluffy fur. Within a few minutes he was calm, and before he could stop himself he was chirping with joy.

Usagi jumped a little in surprise when he heard the first one. When he heard the second one he looked down at Leo who was now blushing. "What was that?" He asked smiling.

"N-nothing" Leo said right before another happy chirp escaped him. Usagi giggled adoringly at the adorable little squeaks coming from his even more adorable turtle friend.

"No, really, what is that? It's so cute!" He asked.

"Is not!" Leo said now getting so flustered he wanted to hide.

"Hmm" Leo hummed. "It seems to happen when I do this" He started to pet Leo again. Leo instinctively leaned into his touch and chirped again. "Aww!"

"Shushy!" Leo said covering his face with his hands. Usagi laughed and gently pulled Leo's hands away. His paws remained wrapped around Leo's wrists as he leaned in close to Leo.

Leo's eyes widened and his entire face turned red. "Wh-what?!" He squeaked out.

"You're adorable~" Usagi said in a low voice. Leo whined in embarrassment as he looked away.

"Am not!" He protested.

Usagi leaned in closer until he was next to his ear. "Are too" he whispered.

Leo, who was internally screaming in a gay panic, slipped out of Leo's grip with his arms high in the air and dragged the blanket off the bed to hide under. Leo laughed again and shook his head.

"All right" he cooed, "I'll let you sleep if you're feeling better". He was about to stand when a hand reached out from under the blanket and grabbed his wrist.

"Actually-" he pulled the blanket down just enough to peek at his friend. "C-can you stay here with me? I'm still a little on edge from the dream".

Usagi smiled. "If it'll make you feel better, then of course I will, Leo". The two crawled onto the bed and got comfy under the covers.

At first they just layed side by side, facing each other. Leo tried to sleep. But the feeling of Usagis warm breath brushing against his lips was a bit...distracting, to say the least. When he opened his eyes, he found Usagis beautiful ones looking back at him. Without a word, Leo squirmed closer until he was buried in Usagis chest and wrapped his arms tightly around him.

"I'm glad I met you" he whispered.

Usagi smiled and hugged him back even tighter. "Me too".

"You mean a lot to me and..."

"And?"

Leo's hand made it's way to Usagis chest. He rested his hand against his fur, feeling his heart beating underneath. "I...I think..." his entire body became warm. "Oh god, Am I really doing this??" He thought to himself. "Well, it's now or never".
He took a deep breath before blurting it out. "I think I like you as in more than friends and if you don't feel the same i understand but I just thought you should know because I thought that maybe you would and if you do then cool! But like I said I-if you don't feel the same-" he stopped mid sentence when he heard Usagi laughing. He felt a little hurt and was about to pull away until Usagi spoke up.

"I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you" Usagi giggled. "I'm laughing because I'm happy".

"You're...happy?" Leo questioned.

"Yes! I've liked you for forever, and now you're confessing to me when Ive spent the entire time thinking you didn't feel the same".

"You-You like me back?"

"Mm-hm!". He pulled Leo in even closer and turned so that he was on top of the turtle. "A lot, actually".

Leo blushed and wrapped his arms around the back of the bunnies neck. "Usagi?" He whispered.

"Yes, Lee?"

Leo chirped at the nickname and felt sparks of happiness shoot through him. "C-can I Um..." his eyes went down to his lips, then back up to his eyes. "Can I kiss you?"

Usagi chuckled and touched noses with him. "Yes you can". Not a second later Leo was connecting their lips. Usagi placed his paws on Leo's cheeks and leaned into the kiss. Leo placed a hand over Usagis paw and smiled as he pulled away.

"Your paws are so soft!" He whispered.

Usagi giggled. "You're adorable".

"Silence!" Leo demanded

"Why don't you make me?" Usagi purred.

Leo smirked. "Gladly". He pulled him for another kiss. The two of them held each-other and cuddled throughout the whole rest of the night. "I love you" Leo had whispered as they drifted off to sleep.

"I love you too, Lee" Usagi whispered in return.
