"Jim! Jimbo! Wake up!" Toby yelled, startling the poor half-troll from sleep.

"Wha- what? What's wrong, Tobes?" Jim questioned, rubbing the tiredness from his eyes. "Why are you here so early? It's a weekend!"

"Jim, you got to come quick! Aaarrrgghh has gone crazy town banana pants in the forge! There are trolls in trouble, and I need help!" Toby exclaimed. Jim was out of bed in an instance and was running on all fours towards the forge. He couldn't let trolls get hurt!

When he reached the forge, a handful of trolls ran about, screaming as Aaarrrgghh roared angrily at them and chased them. Even the forge was acting crazy!

Something in the back of Jim's mind found this familiar, but he chose to focus on the danger now.

"Aaarrrgghh! What's wrong? You need to stop chasing these trolls!" Jim yelled. Aaarrrgghh turned his sights onto Jim and began running towards Jim. Jim in no way wanted to hurt his friend, and his mind was still a little hazy from sleep. Because of this, Aaarrrgghh was able to grab Jim around the waist and hold him like a large doll. "Aaarrrgghh! We can talk about this!"

Aaarrrgghh roared in Jim's face, and Jim looked behind Aaarrrgghh to see the middle of the forge activating and growling taller. What the? Were there balloons attached to the rasing platform of the forge?

Festive music began playing, and Toby and Blinky unfolded a banner with words written in trollish.

Happy Birthing Day!

What?

"Happy Birthday, Jim!" Claire, Toby, Blinky, and Aaarrrgghh exclaimed. The rest of the trolls present were applauding for him.

"Uhh, what?" Jim asked weakly. Aaarrrgghh moved Jim, so he was sitting on Aaarrrgghh's shoulder.

"Jim, do you know what day it is?" Claire asked.

"It's your birthday!" Toby exclaimed.

"It is? Huh, I guess I lost track of the days," Jim said, shrugging. Aaarrrgghh placed Jim back on the ground, and Jim smiled at his friends.

"I know we did the same thing as before, but Tobias was insistent," Blinky stated, walking up to the group. "Were you surprised?"

"Well, since I was half-asleep and didn't know it was my birthday. Yes, I was surprised," Jim smiled. The group broke into smiles.

"See? I told you it would work!" Toby exclaimed, waving a blue balloon in the air.

"Wait. Would I be turning sixteen or nineteen?" Jim questioned. Blinky pondered the question for a moment.

"Sixteen, I believe. Only your consciousness traveled back in time along with whatever magic you contained into your fifteen-year-old body. Even after becoming a half-troll, you are still back to being young," Blinky informed.

"Interesting," Jim nodded.

"What in Deya's name have you done to the Hero's Forge!?" Vendel cried out, entering the forge.

"Vendel! We're just celebrating my best friend Jim's birthday!" Toby exclaimed. Vendel raised an eyebrow.

"You will remove these balloons post haste. I don't want anything to delay the Trollhunter's training," Vendel ordered. And then, just like that, Vendel had disappeared.

"It seems history will repeat itself one way or another," Blinky sighed. "But do not fear, your birthday celebration is not over! Once Tobias does his training, we shall reassign our focus to you."
