"You promise you'll be safe?" Barbara asked.

"As safe as I can be, mom," Jim smiled.

"Where is this Gato anyway?" Barbara inquired.

"He's in Argentina," Jim replied.

"Argentina? I thought you said you'd be gone in less than a day!"

"I will. Trolls have a transportation system called a gyre. Gyre's move extremely fast," Jim informed.

"Huh, interesting. As long as you make it home for dinner---"

"I promise I'll be home for dinner. I told you I'd visit tonight and make my spaghetti and meatballs," Jim smiled.

"And don't forget we're watching Gun Robot 3," Barbara reminded.

"How could I?"

"Master Jim, it is time to take our leave!" Blinky called out.

"Gotta go, mom. I'll see you tonight!" Jim grinned.

"Alright, kiddo. Be safe! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

Jim hung up the phone and turned around to see his team. Douxie walked up to Jim.

"I promise I'll make sure Trollmarket stays in order," Douxie said.

"I trust you," Jim replied.

"Yeah. I think the most you'll have to worry about is the gnomes," Toby cut in. Douxie nodded.

"Safe travels, friends," Douxie waved.

"Everyone has everything?" Blinky questioned.

"I've got my Horngazle and amulet," Jim said, looking in his bag.

"I've got a first aid kit," Claire added.

"And I've got plenty of burritos. Some for us. Plenty for Gato," Toby grinned wickedly.

"I can just portal us out of his belly, TP," Claire reminded.

"Just in case, though!"

"Splendid! Let us make out way to the gyre then!" Blinky said, clapping his hands together.

"Ugh! Hate gyre," Aaarrrgghh gurgled.

"I'm not a fan of it either, wingman," Toby grimaced.

They all walked into the gyre room and watched as the gyre slowly appeared from the floor.

"Can you not drive like a mad man this time, Blinky?" Jim asked, climbing up the ladder and entering the gyre.

"I make no promises."

Even with a troll stomach, gyres did not sit well. Jim's stomach churned when Toby puked. It smelt so bad. Jim gagged, and Claire rubbed his back before shivering in illness.

"How can you even stomach that thing?" Claire asked, looking at Blinky. Blinky shrugged.

"Since I could never drive a car in the human world, I rode the gyre everywhere I could. You eventually build up a stomach for it."

"How long does that take?" Toby croaked, wiping his mouth.

"Hmm, took me twenty or so odd years," Blinky responded, tapping his hand to his chin. Toby groaned.

"Hate. Gyre," Aaarrrgghh said.

"Alright," Blinky said, clapping his hands together. "To Gato!"

"Stay close," Aaarrrgghh advised.
