Over the space of two days, the SHIELD agents and security managed to build a fortress around the so called 'satellite', making sure it was out of reach from any citizen.
"Hey Clint." Cassie greeted her friend as she sat down next to him.
"Mornin' Cass," He replied, moving over a little. "What's got you up this early?"
She hesitated before speaking. "More dreams. And the fact that I recognise that hammer, thing."
"You do?" He asked in surprise.
"Yeah, I just...I just can't put my finger on it and it's stressing me out," Cassie complained, running her hands through her hair.
Clint sighed. "Well sorry, but I can't help. Natasha's the one that usually talks you through stuff like this but she's babysitting Stark."
Cassie let out a laugh, "Still?"
"Yeah, she's gonna be so pissed."
The two agents explored and complained the rest of the day, and even ended up playing hide-and-seek when they got bored, as the scientists studied the hammer the best they could. That is, until the storm started and things went to shit.
Sitwell then came through the comms. "Jackson, Mikaels. West side perimeter, go check it out."
Jackson and Cassie jumped in a jeep and drove over to the west side perimeter, where they saw a whole in the fence. Then a man came behind them and punched Jackson.
"Shit!" Cassie exclaimed and jumped out of the jeep. She ran round to the other side and kicked the man, startling him. He threw a punch and she ducked, grabbed a stick and hit his knee so he fell to the floor. The he startled her by punching her so she fell to the ground.
"I am terribly sorry my lady, you are an exceptional fighter but I must find my hammer and Lady Jane's equipment." The man said before running off. And then things started to fall into place.
"Jackson's down, perimeter breach," Cassie said through the comms. "Son of a bitch, that hurt."

Instead of helping all the other agents, Cassie ran straight to where Clint was looking down on the hammer, just in time to see the man walk up to the hammer. She wanted to see if her suspicions were right. The man had a smug smile on his face as he walked up to the hammer. He wrapped his hands around it, expecting to lift it up but it didn't budge.
He tried again, putting all his strength into it. It still didn't budge and the mans smile fell. He did this for a few more minutes before letting out a painful cry and dropping to his knees.
"Mikaels," Coulson said through the comms, "Move in."
Cassie didn't reply, she just slowly moved closer to the man while looking at him in pity. She went up behind him and knocked him out before whispering a small, "I'm sorry."
But it appeared that her suspicions might be true. Cassie had a small feeling that this was the man her mother told Cassie and her siblings bedtime stories about.

Cassie watched as Coulson spoke to the man, who didn't reply to any of his questions. But then Coulson's pager was beeped so he had to leave, then something odd happened. The man in the cell began talking to someone. There wasn't anyone else in there.
Cassie walked up to Coulson. "Would you mind if I, uh, talked to him myself? It might be easier for me to get information. No offence."
"Go for it," He said, walking over to the monitor. "We'll be here incase anything happens."
Cassie nodded and smiled as she walked into the cell and the man looked at her.
"Goodbye," the man said, just as Cassie walked into the room.
"Goodbye?" She questioned. "We're just getting started."
"My lady," he greeted her with a nod. "What brings you here?"
"I came here to ask you some questions that we need answering," she stated, sitting on a chair that she had brought into the room. "I do have one question though, if you don't mind."
He contemplated this for a minute. "What is your name?"
Cassie hesitated. "Cassandra. But I prefer to go by Cassie."
He completely ignored the last part. "Well, Lady Cassandra, ask away."
"Are you Thor, the God of Thunder?" Cassie had hesitated at first, it was a bit of a stupid question.
"Yes I am." He leaned forward in his chair, "How did you know?"
"My mother used to tell me and my siblings bedtime stories about you and your family. How old are you?" Cassie asked again.
Thor thought for a minute, "I am 1500 years old My lady. Why do you ask?"
Cassie chuckled, "Because I'm 1000 years old. Uh, I'm a vampire."
He went silent for a moment, "My mother used to tell me and my brother stories of immortal beings on Midgard," Thor seemed stunned for a minute. "They were classed as monsters and hid themselves from the rest of the world."
"That's correct, and it all stemmed from my dreadful parents." Cassie huffed.
"If I remember the story correctly, you and your siblings were killed by your Father." said Thor, trying his best to remember.
Cassie remembered that night like it was yesterday. They were eating dinner and the next thing she knew, she woke up in a pool of her own blood.
Agent Sitwell walked in before they could talk anymore. "Ma'am?" Cassie looked at him. "He's got a visitor."

Cassie and Coulson walked to the front door where they were met with Dr Erik Selvig, the man they saw who accompanied Jane a few days ago. He had come to pick up Thor.
"His name is Donald Blake?" Coulson asked sceptically, raising an eyebrow.
"Dr. Donald Blake," Erik corrected with a smile.
Cassie decided to play along with the story, "You have dangerous coworkers, Dr. Selvig."
"He was distraught when he found out that you've taken all of our research," Erik explained. Cassie had to hand it to him, he made up good stories. "That was, years of his life gone! You can understand how a man could go off like that."
Coulson and Cassie looked to the side where Agent Sitwell and another tech agent were searching up the name Donald Blake.
Dr. Selvig payed no attention to that and just continued. "A big, faceless organisation like yours coming in with their jackbooted thugs and..." Coulson looked at him. "That's how he put it."
"Unfortunately, despite the story and explanation, Coulson here just can't seem to wrap his head around how he got past our security," Cassie said sarcastically, throwing her arm round Coulson's shoulders, but not getting offended when he shrugged it off.
"Steroids!" Erik exclaimed, like it was the most common thing in the world. "He's a bit of a fitness nut."
"Sir? Ma'am?" the technician called and they looked over. There was an ID, with 'Donald's' face on it, but it came up as false data.
"It says here that he's an MD." Coulson stated calmly.
Erik was trying to come up with an excuse, it was clear. "Well, he is! Or he was. He switched careers and became a physicist. A brilliant physicist! He's a wonderful man, a man in pain."
The next thing she knew, Cassie was escorting Thor and Erik out of the place. Cassie watched as he picked up Jane's book but she didn't say anything, it was wrong of SHIELD to take it anyway.
"Dr. Selvig!" Coulson called out. "Keep him away from the bars."
"I will." Erik replied with a shaky voice. When she got them to the gates she watched them leave, then Coulson came through the comms.
"Follow them."
