Apparently Steve and Lee knew how to steal a car, Nat and Cassie didn't ask as they sat in the back until Cassie spoke up.
"Where did Captain America and Wonder Woman learn how to steal a car?" Cassie asked and Lee laughed.
"Nazi Germany." The brunette answered.
"And we're borrowing, take your feet off the dash." Steve finished, looking at Lee who rolled her eyes but put her legs down.
"Alright I have a question for you two," Nat continued. "Which you do not have to answer. I feel like if you don't answer it though, you're kind of answering it-"
"What?" Lee interrupted impatiently.
"Was that your guys' first kiss since 1945?"
Lee turned around to smack Nat while Cassie laughed. "It looked that bad, huh?" Steve asked in amusement.
"She didn't say that." Cassie defended her.
"Kind of sounds like that's what you're saying." Lee spoke back.
Nat shook her head and Cassie spoke again. "We were just wondering how much practice you two have had."
The two soldiers looked at each other. "You don't need practice." They said simultaneously.
"Everybody needs practice." The spies said together.
"It was not our first kiss since 1945, happy?" Lee informed them. "We're old, not dead."
Cassie and Nat looked at each other again. "So when did you guys kiss again?" The vampire asked curiously. Neither of the soldiers answered. "C'mon guys, you can trust us!"
Steve chuckled. "You know, it's kind of hard to trust people when you don't know who those people really are." He said.
"Yeah?" Nat answered. "Who do you want us to be?"
The soldiers looked at each other before back at the spies. "Friends."
Cassie just laughed. "There's a chance you might just be in the wrong business there."
The car eventually pulled up outside an old army base which still had a fence blocking it off from the public. They jumped out the car.
"This is it?" Steve asked.
"The file came from these coordinates." Nat shrugged.
"So did I." He replied.
Once they had gotten inside, the sun had already set and it had gotten dark as they wandered around the camp aimlessly. "This camp is where I was trained." Steve explained.
"Changed much?" Lee asked him.
"A little."
Cassie sighed. "Whoever wrote the file must've used a router to throw people off," She said before Steve focused on something behind her. "What is it?"
He began walking over to a building at the very end of the camp. "Army regulations forbid storing munitions within 500 yards of the barracks. This building's in the wrong place."
Cassie used her vampire strength to break the lock and Steve switched the lights on before they got inside. "This is shield." The blonde muttered.
"Maybe where it started." Steve replied as he looked around.
They slowly walked over to a separate office and Steve walked in first, they saw three photos on the wall: Colonel Phillips, Howard Stark and Cassie's old best friend, Peggy Carter.
Nat nodded at the photos. "There's Stark's father." She said.
Cassie could see the resemblance between Howard and Tony, it was uncanny. "And Peggy." Cassie whispered with a smile.
