IAN
"Excellent!" When Ian entered the room, he angrily threw the keys on the table. "Natalie has already found the connection between Katherine and Paul before us," he said, stroking his disheveled hair, which he had not washed for two days and the white grains were growing. "It's scandal"
"It's not your fault," Sam said. "Katherine's mother told everything to Natalie, not you" Sam tried to calm the detective.
Meanwhile, DC Jackson entered the room. Leaning on the table, Ian quickly straightened up.
"I want more control. More! Emergency report from the police tracking Paul's family today"
"The report is ready," Sam interrupted.
Ian didn't expect Sam to interrupt
"And?" DC Jackson asked.
"His father still lives in the suburbs. Paul's mother rarely goes there. There seems to be a cold relation between them." Sam realized that he was out of the main conversation and quickly changed the subject. Paul's father returned after eating dinner at a restaurant outside and did not leave his house."
"What about mother?"
"She was in the company and had 3 meetings during the day. It was recorded that she returned home during the incident that happened last night. Sister Mary Abrams visited a charity concert at the city center"
"They know we are watching them. That's why no one connects with Paul" DC Jackson said. "What about Natalie's family?"
"His father was in the company" Ian continued instead of Sam. "Natalie was at home, and her brother and wife were in out of the city for work. As soon as they arrived in Texas, they were asked to approach the local police for registration and confirmation. Her sister Madeline visited her father-in-law's with her husband"
"We have to find Paul's connection with the murdered person. We need to talk to his wife urgently " DC Jackson said.
Ian was worried that the colonel would give such sudden orders. He knew that it was because of him. The Head already wanted to take control.
The door slammed open as if knocked twice. Samuel could not hide his confusion when he saw DC Jackson in front of him because he did not expect him to be in Ian's room.
"I'm sorry," he said, taking off his glasses. It was clear from his face that he was having a good time. Since the day he met Ian Samuel, there was negativity between them that he could not name. Samuel's attempt to show that he was better in every situation irritated Ian. But Ian never thought of competing with him. Therefore, it was a shame to conflict with someone who tries to show that better at work.
"I contacted Victor Atkinson's assistant," he said. Ian already knew that he would give good news. In his eyes, he knew very well the expression I did. "I talked to Victor Atkinson's assistants," he paused and looked at Ian. There was a look on his face as if he had done great good to the whole world. "Victor Atkinson was waiting for someone," he said.
Ian smiled. He would like to say I know. But he chose to remain silent. Because he did not want to be in the same situation with Samuel. And more than this Ian was tired. He had another enemy to fight to save his family.
