Mystic Falls, September 2009

Eprov

After our fight the day I came home we didn't have anything to say to each other after that and nothing had really change since that day and before we knew it September rolled around pretty quickly

I guess I understood why she was angry as she didn't understands the way our parent's did and I don't think I could ever really tell her everything without telling her of the wizarding world

but on the plus side Jeremy and Jenna loved having me home which made me feel better that they didn't hate me and we had been spending a lot of time together before Jeremy returned to school

when I wasn't with them I had been catching up with my close friends from childhood, Meredith and Eva, it felt so good to see them  to be around them again just being normal girls

and as promised I sent updates every two weeks to everyone back home but I still hadn't hadn't mentioned when at christmas I would be returning back home the memories of the past still haunted me

I've been doing an internship at the hospital alongside Meredith which had kept my mind of the past I've also quite enjoyed it, being around other people and helping them get better

the morning of Elena and Jeremy's first day back at school after summer I woke up and just stared at the ceiling listening to them both rush around getting ready for their first day of school

I thought back to how I felt on my first day and how excited I was to be going back for another year at Hogwarts despite everything that was going on back then I never felt any less excited

James and Lilly always used to say I was there little energizer bunny because I was so hyper to early in the morning before going off the Hogwarts

the smell of coffee wafting through the room made me roll over and look at the clock which shone seven-fifteen am and I groaned before pushing back the covers and slipping on my robe before heading downstairs

I leaned against the door as Jenna rushed around like a headless chicken, it made me smile as she reminded me of mom as she was exactly the same when it came to days like this

"Toast, I can make toast," she said

"It's all about the coffee aunt Jenna," Elena said pouring herself coffee

"Is there coffee?" Jeremy said coming into the kitchen stealing Elena's cup which made me smirk

"It's your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared," aunt Jenna said

"Lunch money" she offered

Elena refused when Jeremy grabbed the money, making me roll my eyes

"and that money better be used for lunch young man, I'll know if it doesn't" I said pushing of the doorway and headed into the kitchen

they all looked up as I walked in and Jeremy rolled his eyes, "yeah yeah I know It will be, will you relax" he said

"What am I missing," aunt Jenna said pausing

"Don't you have a big presentation today?" Elena asked pouring herself another cup of coffee

"I'm meeting my thesis advisor at..... now crap," she said starting to panic

"Go, we'll be fine aunt Jenna, I can handle things from here," I said giving her a hug

she took her hair out and grabbed her bag rushing to the door, but not before shouting back, "thank you, I love you" she said smiling before closing the door behind her
