After helping Mer chose her dress it was getting late so I decided to close up my boutique early which I had been happy about after speeding four hour in there working on a wedding dress for a client making me smell like the office

as soon as I got home I went straight upstairs to my room going into my en-suit turning on the shower stripping off my clothes and jumping in letting the warm water fall down my back

I used my favorite body washed to wash away the office smell letting the bubbles cover my body until I stepped back under the water watching the all float away

once I had washed away the bubble I turned the shower grabbing the towel from the side and wrapped it tight around my body before stepping out on to the mat

I sighed as I walked into my room no realizing that I wasn't alone, "you look beautiful" I heard a voice say

I jumped turning around to see Elijah standing at the window he was dressed in his smart black suit already but his top button was undone and he was without his tie making him look sexy

I smiled slightly, " I'm in a towel" I said

"you would look beautiful in anything my dear" he said

I blushed shaking my head, "what are you doing here" I asked

"I heard my brother asked you to the ball as his plus one" he said

I rolled my eyes, "yeah and who told you that" I asked

"Rebekah mentioned something this morning after her second tantrum of the day" he said

I raised my eyebrows, "yeah we'll that sounds familiar" I said

he laughed, "please be careful Kol can be unpredictable at times and I don't want you to get hurt" he said

I smiled, "I appreciate the warning but I'm a big girl I can take care of myself" I said

"oh I know you can this was just an excuse to see you in a towel" he said with a smirk

I rolled my eyes trying to hid my blush, "Elijah Mikaelson get out of here" I exclaimed throwing a pillow at him

he laughed as he caught it while he stared at me with an intense look in his eyes which made me try and shy away from his gaze

"I'll let you get dressed, I'll see you soon Esklan" he said and with one last look he he left leaving me speechless

I sighed as I turned around dropping the towel and slipping on my dark blue strapless bra and pantie set and wrapping a robe around before sitting in a chair in front of my vanity table

I started at myself as I brushed the tugs in my hair before heating up my curler and creating more bouncy curls and braided two lose braids and pinned them back and adding some hairspray making sure it stayed in place

once I was satisfied with my hair I created a simple and flawless makeup look using gold and pearly pinks for my eyes before finally adding some setting spray hoping it would hold

after making sure I was satisfied with how I looked making sure there were no make up lines and no stray strands of her I nodded with satisfaction that the look I was going for went down well

I stood up walking over to my bed where the box was and opened gasping when I did the dress was absolutly stunning as I pulled it against my body I spun around smiling as I fell in love with it even more

it was a duty blue strapless A-line flora ball gown with a lit up the side and it was so gorgeous Kol definitely had taste when it came to fashion or maybe it was a one off but right now I didn't care
