Klaus along with Kol, Mere and I were driving his car back to the mansion hoping that was where he would be keeping Elena but something was telling that he would hardly chance keeping her somewhere so easy

"do you think he would be that obvious to take her back there, it would be the first place to look," I asked Klaus

"I'm not sure, but I've can't think of anywhere else he would take her," he said

suddenly I heard Mer gas and I turned to see her with a smile on her face but we all just looked at her in confusion

"what are you thinking Mer," I asked

"he could have taken her to the tunnels, there secluded not many people would think to look there until it was too late" she said

Kol looked confused, "Tunnels" he questioned

"when Damon was looking for a way to kill Nik with help they would a tunnel that let to a wall full of symbol but anyway it's worth a shot" I said looking at Nik

he shrugged his shoulders as his phone started to ring and I stretched over rummaging in his pocket pulling out his phone to see it was Elijah and with a glare at the phone I flushed

"who is it love" Nik asked

"Elijah" I growled

before he could say anything else I answered the phone, "What the hell have you done with my sister" I exclaimed

"Elianna what are you doing with Niklaus's phone" he asked with surprise in his voice

"Oh don't worry he's fine we were just talking about how much you would suffer if you don't give me back Elena or if I find a hair out of place when I find her" I said with anger

"I can't, I'll return her once my mother has been stopped if not Rebekah can have her fun" he said

"what the hell is wrong with you Elijah I don't care about your bloody mother so give me back my sister before you and your bratty sister become cannon forte" I exclaimed

I'm sorry Elianna, I'm afraid I can't tell you just yet" he said

"fine don't say I didn't worn you, haven't you learned by now not to mess with my family" I said hanging up with a growl

I could see both brother wince as I hung up, "Ouch your scary when your made poor Elijah being on the receiving end of that" he said shivering

I mocked glared at him, "let's just get to the tunnels please" I said

"has she always been that scary" I heard Kol whisper to Mer

"since the day we met why do you think I agree with her all the time or tread carefully when approaching her in this kind of mood" she whispered back

I huffed, "oh sod off" I said as Klaus smirked

as we continued driving the rest of the journey was a comfortable silence but as soon as we got there I looked for Elijah's car but didn't notice but I did noticed a massive hole in the ground

as we got out of the car walking towards the hole I peered down into it and saw nothing but a whole load of debris and dirt

"Elijah must have create this hole when he first brough Elena this wasn't here before" I said

"Are you sure?" Ni asked

I nodded, "definitely, we would have noticed something like this before now" I said

"right well let's get down there, Meredith you go with Kol and I'll go with Elianna to see if we can find any trace of her" he said as Kol and Mer nodded

Nik and Kol grabbed both Mer and I tight as we got closer to the edge before jumping inside the hole and landing on our feet as soon as we reached the bottom

they let go of us as we turned to look around to see nothing but darkness, "can you tell which way they went" I asked

Nik nodded, "their scent has faded a bit but they went up that way to the left" he said as we started walking

I got my phone out my pocket to turn on the torch trying to see where we were going as it was so dark down here

"Rebekah where are you hiding come out here" Nik shouted as Mer and I jumped as it echoed

glaring at him, "a little warning would have been nice" I said but he just smirked

we just kept on walking and he shouted every couple of minutes "Rebekah" he shouted as she appeared out of nowhere with a struggling Elena

I gave her a fierce glare but she just smirked at me but when she saw Nik and Kol glaring at her she stopped

"Nik, what are you doing down here" she asked

he glared at her, "what do you think your doing Rebekah" he asked

she frowned, "Elijah told me to keep her down here as leverage and if they fail I can kill her" she explained

as I went to attack her Nik put an arm out in front of me to stop me from doing anything drastic before he could defuse the situation

"Over my dead body not if you like living your not, haven't I warned you what happens to people who mess with my family" I spat

"the spell didn't work Rebekah, Elianna warned me and I didn't drink the champagne rendering it useless now let Elena go now" he said with a warning laced in his voice

she looked shocked, "what but how Elijah said" she started

"I don't give a flying crap what you manipulating brother said, let my sister go before I show you things worse than death" I shouted

without a word she threw Elena at me but as soon as she came flying into me I could smell it all over instantly as I turned my glare to Rebekah gently pushing Elena to Kol taking out my wand

"why does my sister smell like gasoline Rebekah" I asked

she looked a bit scared as she looked to Nik who just shrugged his shoulders, "you've pissed of the wrong witch this time sister" he said

looking taken aback she looked to me, "your a witch" she asked

I shrugged, "a wander wheeler if were getting technical but a non of the less yes witch," I said before pointing my wand at her, "crusio" I said

she dropped to the floor screaming in agony but I just kept it on her for a few seconds until I lifted it walking over to her as she panted slightly sweating

but I just watched as she lay on the ground sobbing and whimpering before I knelt down to her close to her ear

"I promised myself I would never use that curse not even on my worse enemy but you needed to see that I always pull through of my promise" I whispered

I just stared at her not knowing what she was thinking but at that moment I didn't really care but I felt a little guilty as I knew exactly how she felt having had that spell used on me before

"that being said if I find out that you have hurt or threatened my family again we'll be right back here, are we clear" I asked

she nodded, "yes I promise" she said still panting a bit

"great happy to know, happy to know we understand each other " I said walking away from them ignoring the looks of worry, concern and shock on their faces

I disappeared back up into the woods walking over to the car and jumping onto the bonnet thinking about what just happened

I had never used that spell before, maybe once in the war but seeing Elena like that knowing what Rebekah intended to do made me snap and In a way I felt guilty not that I'll ever apologize

Elena was family and she came first always.
