Once the dizziness had worn up I used the sink to pull me up steady until I got my baring's, I looked at myself in the mirror and didn't recognizing the person looking back at me I sighed before rinsing my mouth

It had occurred me that this was the fourth time in the past week I have had sudden bought of vomiting I figured it was a virus but I didn't have any other symptoms

I picked up a glass from the side before filling it with water and taking a sip while taking a breath and putting in back down, the dark circles under my eyes were starting to become noticeable

I groaned and opened the cabinet looking for some ibuprofen hoping I had some left when I noticed a unopen box of tampons glaring at me from their untouched spot

I quickly slammed the door shut as realization came over me, I couldn't remember the last time I had a period which was strange because they've always been regular spotty but regular

I hurried into my room in search of my diary which was sitting on the side of my dresser, I picked up and sat on the stood before flicking through the past few months

I came to realize I was late like really late but looking back further it dawned on me I haven't had it in over three months which really worried me

I though over the symptoms that I've had lately and the only thing I could think of that would explain it all was pregnancy but I couldn't be right there must be so other explanation for this right

I slammed my diary shut and put back down on the dresser before picking up my phone and staring at the number to ring the hospital

not wanting to believe that there could be a chance I could be pregnant I just stared at the phone as it glared back me

I though of everyone possible outcome it could be other than pregnancy but nothing else was making sense to me

I brought contact and dialed the number for the hospital and bringing my phone to my ear the nervous ringing through my body as I did so

beep beep beep

after three rings someone answered

"Mystic Falls Hospital, Carlie speaking, how may I help?" she said

Hi Carlie, could I make an appointment to see a doctor please" I said

"yeah of course, when would be the best time for you," she asked

"anytime today if that would be possible," I said

I heard her typing on her computer, " we have just had a cancellation so we could get you in at eleven-thirty today, would that be doable" she asked

"yeah that would be great," I said

the sound of an okay and the typing of the keyboard filled the phone again

"Okay, so what's the name and date of birth," she asked

"Elianna Gilbert and my date of birth is July 31st 1991," I said

the typing continued again

"okay and what's the appointment regarding," she asked

"I just want a check-up I'm feeling a bit under the weather, I think it might be a virus but I just want to make sure," I said

"Okay, that's great your all booked up for eleven-thirty today with Dr Scolly," she said

"Okay that's great, thanks," I said

"no problem, bye," she said

"bye" and with that I hung up

I let out a sigh hoping that with having this appointment it will calm my nerves hoping that it's not what I expect it to be before laying back and staring at the wall
