It had been almost a month since I started at Hogwarts and I was starting to get used to the routine. Eating my dinner I was nudged by Fred who was looking off to the Slytherin table.

"Donavan looks like he's ready for the kill." He joked when seeing his skin was still green.

"For me or you? I mean I'm not the one who changed his skin green." The pair chuckled.

"He's just showing his house pride and there's no proof it was us." Rolling my eyes I laughed with them finishing my food happy that the day was over.

----

It was late in the night and I wasn't able to sleep. Sighing to myself I thought perhaps going out to one of the towers would be nice to clear my thoughts. But I didn't make it there. In the common room, there were still people hanging about. Fred and George being two of them but another person.

"Why do you stick around with her? Clearly, we're all just a meal to her. Von Stien witch or not need blood. She's dangerous."

"She's not dangerous Hannah, (y/n) is a good person."

"Why should we judge someone for something they can't control?" For some reason my heart swelled, it's never done that before. Clenching my chest I took a breath in and out wondering what was happening.

"She's a vampire! Soulless! She's always alone for a reason." Going down the stairs Hannah stopped and gulped loudly when seeing me. Not staying anything I walked past before flicking a spark ball into her hair. She screeched not caring how loud she was. I left the common room to the dark hallways mapping my way to the tower.

Honestly, I didn't care if a teacher found me. It was worth the view. It looked beautiful, all the stars and a full moon. Someone was walking up the stairs. Fred.

"You can come out. I know you're there." Fred walked out of the small hallway before the opening rubbing the back of his neck.

"So I'm not as sneaky as I thought." Smiling not looking away from the sky he sat down beside me.

"No one can be sneaky with me." My comment made fred bite his lip.

"Sorry, you had to hear that," Fred said and I shrugged my shoulders.

"It's not the first time I heard it. I hear everything." Sighing his out George came panting up the stairs.

"I managed to calm Hannah down. Boy was she pissed." George breathed slumping down to the floor joining Fred and myself.

"She doesn't seem to be the type of person you hang out with."

"Hannah? No. She's got a thing for Fred though. But half the time she flirts with me instead." They both chuckled while I frowned lightly thinking it through.

"How could she get you mixed up?" Fred stopped laughing looking at me now also confused.

"We are twins you know."

"Identical." George finished and I looked between them. I guess I see things differently from others.

"Well everyone smells different to me." They snickered together.

"Smells?"

"Yeah. Everyone is unique. Although the two of you are similar your scent is different." tilting my head up to look out at the stars they were mouthing sentences to themselves again.

"How are we different?" Humming getting out of the daze I was in George inched a little closer.

"Fred smells like fireworks with a musky calon and you smell like a fireplace and freshly made bread." Nodding my head when finishing off they shared a smug expression. "Hannah is overpowered with some sort of perfume, maybe pink rose."

"How about McGonagall?"

"Uh cats, but that's a given I suppose and also pine wood." And that's how it started, a long list of professors and students and how they smelt to me. Eventually, I was laughing at them as they laughed at my responses.

"Oh, what about your dad? He's got to smell like something bad." The laughter died down and my gaze went to the floor while I brought both legs into my chest.

"He uh just smells like blood. A lot of blood." Resting my chin to my knees it was silent for a moment. They had stepped over an invisible line it made me invert into myself.

"Sorry I didn't mean to bring him up." Shaking my head I smiled a small amount.

"No it's ok I just... Never mind." I really don't know them that well. My problems are my own. No one else's.

"Hey, I've got some chocolate frogs, wanna try one." George beamed out and my head tilted on my knees.

"Sure, thanks." George tossed it over to Fred who placed it on my cheek as my head was still on its side. Giggling I grabbed it taking out the chocolate frog just before biting into it. "Mmmm I love chocolate. I never get this at home." They gaped at one another for a moment.

"NEVER." the pair said at the same time.

"you need some education on sugar."

"When we next go to Hogsmeade we're having a sugar run." Smiling at fred and George I gasped when seeing a shooting star in the sky. Standing up going right over to the railing I smiled to myself watching it zip across.

----

I was starting to urge for blood. It was similar to hunger but not the same. Eating food would do nothing just dull it to an itch in the back of my throat. Gulping when seeing some kid drink black currant juice with his breakfast I quickly looked away when George waved a hand in front of my face.

"You alright? You've been quiet all morning." Swallowing some saliva I shook my head clearing my throat.

"Yeah just thirsty." Fred passed over a mug of hot tea and I gave him a small smile. "Thanks."

"We're in a Quidditch match later today. You planning on going?" Fred asked and I nodded.

"Wouldnt dream of missing it." But all I was thinking about was how long I could last.
