I was sitting by the lake with my sketch pad that the twins gave me six months ago drawing the surrounding trees. Quinn came from mist to my right and I didn't bother to look up.

"Harry was spotted near Hogwarts." My head whipped up and I stood. It was time, after so long. Six months away everything I wanted to keep safe.

"Then we need to get there. Caith knows how to get inside." He nodded and gathered all that were nearby and instructed the others to wait in the forbidden forest under the barrier that was broken on the inside. In total so far it would be 400 of us. More if need be.

I'd informed Mcgonagall months ago of our plans which I got another letter back. Of course, this was all in code, we flew over to the castle and once near the boards, I stood in front of everyone.

"Follow me. Don't touch any of the students." Warning them there wasn't much fuss since Quinn tried drilling it into them this wasn't about them but the future of our kind.

"Ready darling." Caith said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't be an arse Caith and get us through." He nodded taking us through the barrier, flying through the castle grounds one of the windows of the main hall smashed open so I headed there first. When my feet landed on the ground McGonagall quickly turned to me.

"Oh Miss Von Stien, you made it here safely." She smiled shaking my hand.

"Thanks to you. We've got others waiting for the word outside. Caith you take the south side with five others." He nodded disappearing. There was a shout of my name. Whipping my head around letting in a deep breath remembering the scents I've missed since the day I left, Fred and George came running towards me. Smiling I let them hug me tightly into them. "I'm so sorry I left," I mumbled into their shirts. Before either of them could say anything there was a loud scream. Followed by another.

'I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you may even think that to fight is wise. But this is folly. Give me harry potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me harry potter. You have one hour.' His voice echoed in my head as it did for everyone, holding my ears it hurt more than it should have. Having sensitive hearing and all. When the voice stopped I shut my eyes trying to recover from the ringing.

"You alright (y/n)?" George asked and I looked up at him.

"What happened to princess?" He chuckled as did Fred.

"I thought you didn't like the nicknames?" Fred said into my ear as people were talking around us.

"I've grown to like them." Fred brought me in for a kiss, id forgotten how much I missed having someone so close to me, someone cleared their throat. It was one of the men following me.

"You going to prep us or make out with your boyfriends?" Growling at him he stepped back.

"Take the north side. just beyond the bridge. I'll join you in a moment." He nodded disappearing. I let out a soft sigh. "I need to go." Pecking George's lips I tried getting out of their hold.

"We'll go with you," Fred said but I shook my head.

"I can't let you do that. I'll find you both after the first wave. Stick together and stay safe." George grabbed hold of my wrist.

"We love you." I smiled blushing a small amount.

"I love you too." Fading into a mist I went to join the others along the boundary. They were waiting for me, when spotting flares for protection charms going up into the sky I raised my wand. "Protego Maxima. Fianto Duri. Repello Inimicum." Repeating this until the shield was created I cleared my throat. As we waited I heard something, all our eyes turned to the right seeing what looked like stars heading towards the castle.
"It's begun. Get ready." Ordering them to fall back since the bridge was rigged I stood there alone I frowned when seeing Neville coming down the bridge.

"What are you doing here?" He asked and I sighed looking out at the coming army.

"Waiting. Dean take the others to the front of the castle. This section is cleared." knowing he was listening Neville looked out at the massive crowd. Egging them on while I leant against the wall. "Neville perhaps not the best idea." I breathed when there was suddenly a loud explosion.

"Was that what I think it was?" He asked and I walked forward grabbing his shoulder.

"Yes, so let's go." We turned as the roar of the crowd went after us. Not wanting to leave Neville alone I ran with him trying not to get hit or to be hit by the falling beams. Making it to the end I gasped as Neville fell down behind me. "Neville." Grabbing his hand I swiftly brought him up.

"That went well." Sighing I brought him down to the safety of the stone ground.

"Wish I could chat but got an army to lead." Leaving I went by Caith and now Quinn. He nodded for me. "Go for the giants first, come from behind and try to kill as many before they enter the castle." Quinn tapped my shoulder as he went off to help.

"You better stay alive." Caith shouted and I rolled my eyes at him.

"That's the plan." Going right for a giant I flew up slamming into his head making him topple over. Running about the grounds attacking dark wizards until I was left panting, as more time went on the ruble in the yard grew. "Watch out!" I shouted "Reduco!" A student stood behind me. "Get inside, it's not safe out here." I breathed and she ran off. Spotting Harry, Hermione and Ron trying to get through the courtyard I appeared in front of them. "Destination?" I asked quickly

"The docks." Nodding I led the way.

"Dean, get this bloody giant!" I shouted as Spiders started coming towards us. The giant was taken down. "Go quickly, we've got this." Harry left with the others. "Bombarda Maxima!" This was only the beginning of the night and when I thought it couldn't get any worse there was a red glow in one of the higher corridors that extended out for me to see. Fred.
