Humming a soft tune to myself while swiftly moving through the joke store towards the exit. Ducking and sliding to the side I made it to the door ready to go out.

"Where are you going?" The twins said before I could slip out.

"Shopping. Then I was going out with Luna." Adjusting the skirt I wore they stepped closer.

"Without saying goodbye?" Biting my lip I leant forward kissing the two of them quickly.

"Goodbye, have fun." Smiling they grinned before going off to help customers. I left for the shops wanting to get dessert, since now I've got even more recipes to learn, the shop was uneventful but on the way home I felt like someone was watching me, glancing about there wasn't anyone and nothing smelt off. Maybe it's just me. Going back home to drop off the groceries I just finished placing everything away I heard a hiss. Then I smelt it. Blood. Gasping I ran upstairs seeing Fred on the bed with George trying to heal the wound.

"Georgie, what happened?" I whispered and the pair looked over at me.

"Damn we've been found out." Fred joked but I ignored that going right over to George grabbing out my wand.

"Vulnera Sanentur." Repeating the phrase several times I got out a vile from my small first aid box. "Open." Fred listened and one drop landed on his tongue.

"Fucking hell." He coughed out.

"You've lost a lot of blood," I whispered patting a damp cloth onto his forehead. " That will help but you'll need to rest." I stopped for a moment before glancing at George. "What happened?" George rubbed the back of his neck.

"We had to shut half the store for a renovation. It was only meant to take five minutes but Fred here fell." Fred gave me a cheeky smile.

"You weren't wearing the ring I gave you?" I asked glancing at his right hand.

"No, I took it off for a shower and..." My eyes went wide going to the bathroom room quickly and frantically looked around. Finding it I went right over putting it back on his hand.

"Never take this off either of you. This ring can stop even a dark curse or heal you from a fatal fall. Please don't." I paused sucking in a breath. "You two are the only people in this world I care about please don't be reckless." A tear rolled down my tear which Fred wiped away with a soft smile.

"Don't be clumsy is more like it. Fred slipped off the stairs." George chuckled making me smile. "But yes we'll work on that." Fred sat up more as George jumped over to give me a bear hug from behind. "I can close up the shop and we can spend the afternoon together," George whispered in a hushed voice.

"I'm going out with Luna remember." George groaned into my neck with a pout while I tried to get up.

"But I need a sexy nurse," Fred whined out and I giggled.

"Actually Fred you're gonna fall asleep in a few minutes. The blood replenishing potion will make you drowsy." I sang out at the end gathering up my bag at the bedroom door Fred yawned but was fighting the potion.

"How do you know everything?" Fred breathed out and I leant over him giving Fred a soft kiss.

"I need to know how to keep people safe." saying this against Fred's lips he kissed me harder before I pulled back. "Goodnight Freddie." Whispering this his eyes shut and taking hold of George's hand we left the room.

"So what time were you planning on coming home?" George asked turning me in lightly against the wall, hands on my waist.

"In time for dinner." I breathed out as George kissed me. Moaning softly as his fingers massaged my sides he pulled back after a moment.

"Alright princess I'll keep working." He kissed my forehead before apparating back down to the store. I went to the meet up place to meet Luna, she was standing alone holding onto her bookbag staring up at the sky.

"Luna." I grinned and she smiled back at me. It was almost the end of the summer holidays I was glad I managed to catch up with luna.

"Hello (y/n)." She spoke in her normal airy voice.

"How have you been holding up," I asked when we made it to the outline of a forest. Luna suggested it since she's not a fan of the cafes in Dieogon alley.

"Alright. After what happened at the ministry of magic my father has been extra careful." She stopped walking to look up at the tree line.

"Do you know how Harry is? I heard from the twins his godfather passed away." Luna hummed and went to say something but I felt the presence again, from earlier today. "Luna stays close to me," I whispered taking hold of her forearm while looking around. "Someone is watching us." She glanced around with me.

"You're not as perspective anymore. This life you want is making you soft." Caith. He's here now of all times? Luna shifted closer to me when spotting my worried facial expression.

"What are you doing here? The deal is done I want no part in any of this." Glaring at him Caith growled lowly to himself. He waited for the dim light of the afternoon to find me and when I wasn't in a crowded area.

"That deal was with your father. Not me. I've been trying to select my new wife but none have the same spark as you." He disappeared and I spun as around in time before he was in front of me again.

"Caith leave or I'll be forced to." He stepped closer and I growled.

"To what? I'm stronger than you in every way." His eyes glowed making mine do the same. I raised my wand.

"Not in every way. Stay away from me or I'll inform father. He might not be keen that you disrespect his wishes." His eyes squinted at mine. Father is many horrible things but when a deal is struck he never goes back on it.

"Fine. But one day that old man will croak." He disappeared right after. Why would he say that? Even mentioning the death of the master of the vampires could get him killed.

"(y/n) are you alright?" Lina asked and I let go of the stronghold I had on her arm.

"Sorry I uh yes, let's head back. I don't want Caith to send someone after us."
