We waited until the next morning to go back to the burrow. Slowly moving about the apartment wondering if we should be going anywhere George held onto me from behind.

"Are you ready to go?" He whispered into my ear, sighing I nodded but held onto his hands.

"If we dance first. We didn't get to last night." George turned on the radio beside us and I smiled while he extended his hand, spinning around to the music playing I leant my head on George's shoulder smiling softly he swayed us side to side.

"Did you really sacrifice part of your life for us?" George asked into my hair and I nodded.

"I want to protect the both of you. Living three hundred years is too long and most of it would be without you." He hummed holding tighter onto me. George turned my head pressing our lips together.

"I will take any moment you have for me." Going on my tippy toes I leant up kissing him once more. Wrapping both arms around his neck the music slowly came to a stop.

The trip to the burrow was quick and when making it there It was better than I expected, it was mostly the wedding area that was in shambles. Which was almost all gone now.

"Fred, George, (y/n) thank Merlin you're alright." Molly came running out of the house to give us a hug each. "Come inside we've got a lot to talk about." walking inside Molly handed over each of us a hot cup of tea and just as I went to sit down my head whipped around.

"Everything alright baby girl?" Fred asked but I just placed my mug down. The conversation in the living room stopped.

"Stay inside. All of you." They all looked at me as I walked outside. Shutting the front door behind me the moment I walked out vampires appeared. Locking the door with a charm to make sure no one interrupted I gazed out at each of them. All had umbrellas covering them from the light of the sun. "Quinn, what's going on?" I called out to my brother walking out holding up my wand.

"I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't completely necessary. It's about father." I scoffed rolling my eyes, Caith who was among the bunch surrounding me stepped closer.

"Caith stay the hell back." He glared at me and stopped when Quinn raised his hand. My eyes squinted at the gesture. "He's dead, isn't he. Father." Quinn nodded silently and my lips went into a thin line. That makes Quinn the new master.

"That dark wizard killed him. Voldemort." My eyes flickered back to the burrow seeing the Weasley family looking out the glass window. Arthur was holding back the twins as was lupin.

"And? What are you doing here?"

"There's going to be a hearing to determine what we do. I might be the air to the throne but since this only just happened I don't have the faith of everyone. Either we do nothing or fight against all wizarding kind." My eyes went wide and I almost forgot how to breathe. All of them. They're mental. "Come with us and help sort this out. You're the bridge between us and them. I will respect the pact you had with father after this is sorted." My eyes shifted to Fred and George who now shuffled away from the window and came running out the door. Perhaps they heard.

"Don't go (y/n)!" They both shouted trying to come after me but Caith took hold of my shoulders. So they did hear.

"I'm sorry." A tear rolled down my face as Caith took me away back to the castle. It took longer than normal since it was daylight but the moment we landed I pushed him off me. "Stay the hell away from me," Caith growled and went to hit me but Quinn walked between us taking hold of my forearm.

"The hearing is in two days. We can discuss more later. Once the sun has set." He gently let go of my arm going on his way. Probably to sleep, as did most of the castle. While I went up to one of the towers. Fiddling with the ring the twins gave me tears trickled down my face. I would have broken their hearts but if what Quinn told me was true it might not only be the dark wizards they'll need to face.

----
Spending the day looking at the scenery I watched the sunset before heading off to find Quinn. He was in father's study or his study now. It didn't seem like he slept at all. Quinn glanced up from the book he was writing in.

"Well need half of the lord's votes to win. At the moment they all want to kill off the wizarding kind." His blunt words were somewhat refreshing reminding me of myself.

"And what do you want?" Quinn turned back from me as the doors shut behind me.

"A virus can only be stopped at its source. This war the wizards have started with Voldemort and will end with Voldemort. That's what I want." Nodding meekly at him I sat down on the cushioned chair by the window.

"You should not attack a culture for the acts of a few." Quinn hummed in response settling down beside me.

"If we come out of this war I want you to help me advocate for us. Laws can be changed, perhaps the life you hated could be changed for those who wish a choice." His words shocked me, Quinn was on my side? He was always so distant I never thought he'd trust me in such away. Moonlight spread across the darkroom.

"Let's think about that once the time comes." He agreed and so we spent the night working on the hearing. It wasn't until morning I managed to go back to bed. Tired from the long day. A small part of me wanted to leave for the day. To find Fred and George but they'd know I left and if I did I'd only have to leave again.
