Telling the Family

14 weeks...

Wei Wuxian was a huge ball of stress, pacing back and forth, mumbling to himself what the hell he was going to do about this. He knew he had to tell Jiang Cheng, shijie, and...well pretty much everyone else. He lied down on the bed, frustrated and pouting. 

Stressing over this isn't going to help, I need to relax. It'll be fine...it'll be great...

He shut his eyes and let out a sigh, caressing his stomach. He had gotten a bit bigger with him now being in his 4th month, so he knew he was getting more obvious. Telling everyone here in the Cloud Recesses was going to be hard, but telling everyone at Lotus Pier would probably be more anxiety-inducing.

"Wei Ying?"

"Yeah?"

"How are you feeling?" Lan Wangji placed a hand on his husband's growing belly, rubbing in a soothing motion.

"I keep getting pains...I'm planning on talking to Wen Qing about them later though. Otherwise, I'm mostly stressed about telling everyone today." He sat up from his lying position and gave a peck to his husband's cheek. Lan Wangji did so too.

"Well, we could do it whenever you're ready. You don't have to rush things.", the taller said with a small smile.

"I know, but I'm showing more so I don't really have a choice in waiting. It might as well be today. It has been 3 weeks since the last time we really discussed this."

"Alright. I support your decision, darling."

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji gave each other a kiss for reassurance, "I love you", the younger man said as he wrapped his arms around the taller.

"I love you too.", Lan Wangji said with a smile.

"Can't we just stay like this a little bit longer?" Wei Wuxian was more relaxed now, his breathing slowed, and his eyes were shut.

Lan Wangji took this time to admire the other's features. His skin was porcelain and fair, and with the pregnancy, he was beginning to glow up. He had no blemishes on him and his hair had gotten thicker, softer, and longer as well. Wei Wuxian's face had also gotten a bit more rounder with cute plump cheeks to add. He was beautiful...

The taller man let out a small gasp and a small blush formed on his cheeks when the younger had opened his eyes again.

"Lan Zhan?" Wei Wuxian had a confused look, probably because his husband hadn't answered his question and stayed silent.

"Mn?" 

"Are you alright?" Wei Wuxian had a worried look on his face now.

Lan Wangji without responding went to kiss his lover's lips again. The younger was now leaning into the kiss, letting out a small moan. They pulled from the kiss soon after.

"Well...that was unexpected." Wei Wuxian said with a smile. He moved his arms from his husband's neck to place a hand on his belly.

"Mn." Wei Wuxian noticed how his husband's ears were getting redder and redder. He smirked and decided to tease him a little cause why not.

"You're so cute when you blush, Lan Zhan~" The taller grew even more flushed and turned his head away from the other, holding his arm up to cover his blush.

"Aww, now you can't look at me? This must be embarrassing, Lan Wangji~" Wei Wuxian said as he continued smirking.

"Wei Ying, we should-", he stops to clear his throat, "be getting ready to tell the clan about the baby." The older's face was still flushed but managed to push on, trying his best to ignore his husband's flirting.
