Bendy's POV:
It was the next day. After Charley had fallen asleep, Barley stumbled in. He didn't say anything, nor did he look at anyone. His gown was clean, but the blood on his sleeve was still a little noticeable. He was quick to lay down and face away from us. After that, we all decided to just go to bed early.
I slept rather well, despite the day being rough. I was woken up to, once again, the sound of a bell. I was too tired to be mad.
I then noticed that Charley and Barley were already gone. I personally did not feel like talking to them yet. I stood up, put my slippers on, and walked out to the cafeteria.
I was finally allowed to sit at the orange table. There were no angry stares this time, but I could tell a lot of people were still mad at me. Today for breakfast I had pancakes.
I was waiting for my food when Boris and Alice groggily walked into the room. I watched Alice sit next to me, then watched Boris go to the green table. My eyes were soon shifted to Charley, who had his head rested on his hand.
He fell asleep again.
I then looked over at Barley. He was scowling as he stared down at the table, not once glancing over at me. I sighed a little and turned away from him. Alice put a hand on my shoulder and gave a comforting smile. I grinned back faintly.
We waited another five minutes before our food came. We were all given three pancakes, stacked on top of each other. There was a bottle of syrup in the middle of the table. It took a while, but I finally managed to grab it.
As I went to pour some, the lid came undone. It soaked my pancakes and my plate, some of it dripping onto the table.
"Well shit-" I quoted. I sounded calm but I wasn't. I was furious. There was no way I was eating soggy pancakes!
No one reacted, they just ate. The only one who noticed, however, was Barley. He had a smirk on his face. It was clear he was holding back laughter.
I then realized something else. He was the one who had the bottle before me, and he took way longer when it came to closing the lid.
Did he do this?
"Barley did you unscrew the cap?" I asked him with a hint of anger in my voice. He then looked at me, still struggling to contain himself.
"Nope." he responded. Though the smirk on his face made it obvious it was him.
"You really think Barley would do something like that?" Alice asked me with curiosity.
"I mean, he was the last one with the bottle. Plus, look at his face!".
When I looked back at him the smile was gone. He looked like as if nothing happened. Alice was quick to notice.
"Umm. He looks normal.".
"He didn't a few seconds ago!".
"Maybe you're just agitated on the fact that the purple betrayed ya. That's no need to go blaming people though." Felicity grumbled.
"I'm not blaming. I KNOW he did it!".
"Why would you think that though?" Barley asked me quietly. He was trying to seem normal; I know it was him though.
I just sighed and rolled my eyes as I picked at my syrup-flooded breakfast. I was starving, but there was no way I was going to eat it.
I already knew what I was going to say to him though. He was doing this because he was angry. Perhaps if I just apologized to him and Charley, he would leave me alone. He's a forgiving guy, right?
