Chapter 18- Taking Action

Bendy's POV:

I had fallen asleep at some point, because I woke up the next morning from a ringing bell. I was really sick and tired of that damn bell.

"Breakfast time! Today is scrambled eggs and French toast with milk!" the nurse announced before he walked off, leaving the door open.

We all groaned simultaneously and sat up. I rubbed my eye and yawned before looking around the room. I barely got any sleep last night. I didn't know if I should bring it up though.

But of course, it was brought up anyways.

"God I'm so fucking tired. Doesn't help that Bendy was shuffling around the room like a damn zombie." he grumbled. Was he still angry about that?

"Wait what do you mean by that?" Alice questioned tiredly.

Before Charley answered, I cut in.

"I just had some dumb nightmare and couldn't fall back asleep.".

"Yeah. Keepin' me awake." he crossed his eyes and sighed.

"What was it about?" Alice asked.

"I'll tell you during breakfast.".

"Uh, did you already forget we don't sit together?" Charley stated with attitude.

"Yep, but I found a loophole." I answered with a smirk.

"What is it?" Boris wondered.

"They say we can't sit at the same table, but they never said anything about sitting on the floor!".

"You really wanna sit on the floor?" Boris questioned with confusion.

"What are we? Dogs?!" Charley snarled. "No offence, Boris.".

"None taken.".

"We're not dogs or any kind of animal. In fact, I personally don't feel like sitting on the floor either. The only reason I'm doing it is to piss off the nurses!" I explained to them.

They all let out an "ah" of understanding.

"As long as it gets on people's nerves im in." Charley admitted.

The others seemed to agree with him.

"Great! We'll sit in the small gap of space between Charley's table and the green table. There should be room for all of us." I told them.

"Wouldn't we get in trouble?" Barley suddenly asked, more energized than yesterday.

"We might, but at least we'll all be together. That way we can go through with the rest of the plan. If we don't, then we keep causing trouble until we do!".

Our conversation was soon interrupted by the same nurse from before.

"You five coming?".

"No, we wanna stay in here and be bored. Of course we're fucking coming you moron." Charley snapped with heavy sarcasm.

"Watch your mouth, Charley." he said in a stern voice before leaving the room.

I heard Charley sigh as he stood up. "Cmon, let's go already. I'm starving.". It was clear he was in a bad mood.

We all exited the room one at a time and treaded down the hall, soon cutting through the playroom to get to the cafeteria.

"Okay. We sit down on the ground after we get our food." I informed them before we split off to our tables. I sat down in my usual seat, next to Barley and Alice. I was still angry at that one woman who snagged Barley's food. I was actually glad I would be sitting on the floor instead of with her.
