(Sorry for short chapter. It's because the next one is really interesting!)

Bendy's POV:

I spent the rest of the day being grumpy. It didn't help that Barley kept annoying me. He tried countless times to apologize and make up for it. I will never accept his apology. Doesn't he understand that at all?

Though I have to admit I probably could've handled it differently.

I said a lot of rude things to him.

"Stop bothering me already.".

"You've lost your chance to apologize.".

"Don't give me that look. You look foolish.".

"Just grow up already.".

As the day went on, he grew quieter and more distant. He seemed upset. I'm glad he was. As selfish and horrible as this may sound, it felt nice.

It felt nice to break him down.

To crush his spirits. To take away any hope he may have had. He deserves it. It's what he's been doing to me!

Right?

Maybe I was just taking my anger out on him, or maybe he was the problem all along. Either way, it felt good to finally be above him. I was tired of his degradation.

I attempted to talk with Charley, but he was still drowsy as hell. He didn't understand anything I was saying. He just laughed then fell asleep. Whatever happened to him, it better wear off soon!

Boris was recovering just fine from the knockout. He complained about headaches, but that was all.

Alice was getting worse, though. She was now bedridden. Her muscles were too weak to support her body. She had to have a nurse come in and feed her. Her shivering was more intense as she could barely keep her eyes open. We were all heavily concerned. But whatever this sickness was, she'll get better.

I hope so.

I was sitting in the playroom with Boris. We were bored out of our minds, trying to think of something to do. That's when I had the sudden urge to go.

"I'll be right back. I gotta use the bathroom." I told him as I rose to my feet, trotting down the hallway.

I soon reached the bathroom. I got in, did my thing, washed my hands, and left. No big deal. I began to walk back. However, I thought I heard something from my room as I passed by. I was about to ignore it, but curiosity got the better of me.

Slowly, I opened the door and crept inside. I first spotted Alice. She was lying on her side, asleep. She was facing away from me though.

What I saw next is what concerned me.

Charley was sitting on his bed, his knees up to his head. He was rocking back and forth slowly, probably to comfort himself. That's when I heard the sniffling.

He was crying.

But why? Charley never cries in front of people. He'd only do that if it was something really bad. Obviously worried, I stumbled closer to him.

"Charley? What the hell happened? What's wrong?".

No response as he failed to even acknowledge me.

I repeated myself. "What happened?!".

He finally looked up at me with tears in his eyes. He then shakingly pointed over to Alice.

Oh no. What was that supposed to mean?!

"Is she okay?!" I asked him frantically, feeling my heart stop.

He slowly shook his head as he buried his head into his lap again.

I looked over at Alice, panicked. I checked for any bad signs as I felt tears form in my eyes. That's when I noticed what was wrong.

She had no pulse.

(Cliffhanger, sorry!)
