Chapter Thirty One: Hers To Return
I decided to stay an extra three weeks at the Gustily Pack. After bribing Rohan with multiple hugs and cuddles, we were back to being goofs together again. He was deadly serious on coming to Red Eclipse with me but I doubted Chrisshiano would be happy about that so we comprised on him just driving me.
"Dylan O'Brian or Tom Holland", I had been asking random questions to make the drive less boring.
"That's a trick question", Rohan laughed, "I love all of my twenty five plus husbands"
"Back off mister they're all mine", I shoved him and he skidded on the road a little. "Why did you shove me, do you want us to die", Rohan defend himself when we regained control. Luckily for us there weren't any cars on this route.
Blood bond mates Rohan and Blair also known as the famous Murdrogue and Lucreasia die in car accident after surviving the rogue war. That would make headline in mates monthly.
"But you said you'd ta..." I whined. "Blair I can't steal your fictional boyfriends where the hell will I find Natsu Dragneel", Rohan joked. Taunting me for my recent tinny tiny little obsession on all things anime.
I wonder if Rohan would let me dye his hair pink, just for a little while, but probably not.
I huffed, crossed my hands by my chest and looked away from him to out the window. I wonder if Rohan would allow me to dye his hair pink.
We sat in comfortable silence for the next thirty minutes just basically ignoring each other till a whimper escaped my lips as an uncomfortable heat crept up on me. "Pull over", I strained to tell Rohan as the unease in my gut grew stronger.
"Why"
"Rohan pull over", as I felt a strong wave of nausea and Rohan pulled to the side of the road. I rushed out the car and spied my guts out. Rohan raced over to my side and rubbed soothing circles round my backs while helping me stand up, my knees felt heavy and would have buckled as I heaved.
Once I was done Rohan carried me back to the car and handed me a hankie and a bottle of water to rinse my mouth.
"That's the third time you're puking black goo", he worriedly said.
"Fifth, back at the castle and a couple days ago", I confessed. I didn't want him to worry like he does every time over everything, so I didn't tell him. It's probably nothing anyway.
"You need to see a doctor", Rohan in fully activated mama bear mood said.
"I'm fine", I assured him even though I didn't feel fine and I probably have a fever and goddess knows what else. I didn't need him worrying about my when he's back at Gustily. "I'll go see Averi tomorrow", I promised to further convince him.
"Well now I'm not leaving until I make sure you're okay", he said as he started the car again and continued driving to Red Eclipse.
"Rohan..."
"My decision's final Blair, you can't change it or stop me", Rohan said as he looked at the road and open his mind to me, "I have every right to take care of my blood bond mate" "Even if she doesn't want me to", he whispered and I knew there was nothing I could do to change his mind.
I sighed and got out my phone to call Lucreasia. "Hey stupid", she said when she picked up. I had already called my mum and Luc telling them I'd be back today.
"Luc, Uhm I can't get a hold of Mars, do you mind finding him I might be coming with a plus one, the male kind", I told her.
"Girl he isn't going to like this", she said.
