A Couple Made In Dreams

Chapter 44: Brilliance

It was first a period of silence, and then the air exploded in tension. Shauna seemed to have found her center again and said: "Everybody introduce yourselves first."

"I'm Sakura. Whoa, PerformerSerena. I didn't think you were this beautiful." A girl wearing a purple t-shirt started.

"HeroJohn, we fought the Dragon King of Lake Tran together."

"YoungEvans."

"Hi, I'm KingBatista."

"TonyJr."

......

The ones that talked first were those who Serena had relationships with in the sect, and then after them were two that came in after Serena had left.

"My name's very hard to pronounce, you can call me A Bu Si."

"Beautiful girl, I'm called Wei Lian."

At the end, there were four or five people that remained without speaking. The boy next to DemonessAmelia seemed to want to talk but after saying a "I" didn't follow up.

At this time, the man sitting next to Shauna stood up. Looking at his clothes and expression, he was obviously a person working and in society. He held his wine glass and took up a posture looking as though he was toasting Serena: "Serena, I'm YourboyTierno. We've had some unhappiness before in the game but since everybody has met, then the things that happened before, we should let go."

"Of course." Serena generously said.

What YourBoyTierno said wasn't just for Serena, it was also warning the Watson Family. DemonessAmelia finally delicately opened her mouth: "I'm DemonessAmelia. PerformerSerena, I've wanted to meet you for a long time."

What DemonessAmelia said was polite, but the tone made everybody uncomfortable. The people inside the room felt their body freeze. Serena heard the trap in her tone but even though she also wasn't short in eloquence, she didn't feel like using it so she smiled. She very lightly used a lever to move a massive weight: "Nice to meet you."

The male youth next to her opened his mouth again. His gaze finally openly landed on Serena's body and said: "I, I'm ChampionXavier."

On the other side of DemonessAmelia, two girls glanced at each other and reluctantly said: "Watson NiNi."

"Watson Emilia."

After introductions, everybody looked with speculative gazes between Serena and ChampionXavier as well as DemonessAmelia. It wasn't until that DemonessAmelia seemed visibly furious that they moderated themselves.

ChampionXavier stood up and called for the waitress. He ordered a few expensive bottles of red wine and very boastingly said: "I'm paying today, everybody feel free and eat."

"It's too expensive."

"Xavier, you're so rich."

Everybody was shocked at the price of the red wine.

YourBoyTierno smiled and said: "If it isn't Xavier picking up the bill today, we couldn't eat here. Any dish here is a three digit number."

DemonessAmelia serenely smiled: "It was my suggestion, of course he's paying."

Shauna looked at her putting on the act of being the female owner. On one hand she was laughing on the inside. On the other hand, she felt irritated so she purposefully turned towards Serena and said; "Serena, your dress is very nice, shows your body off very well. How much did you buy it for?"

Serena looked at her and glanced away before faintly saying: "It was a casual purchase, I forgot."

Due to Shauna's question, everybody's focus came back to Serena. They talked to talk.
