Chapter 10

Dahil mali yung nabooked na flight pauwi nung secretary nung mommy ni Gab, nakarating kami ng NAIA saktong araw ng exam. Nagmadali lang kaming umuwi sa mga condo namin. Buti na lang nakapagreview ako kaya natulog na lang ako sa plane. Dumaan lang ako ng breakfast ko at pumasok na sa exam hall. Kumain lang ako sandali, tapos nung natapos ako ay dumating si Dom.

"Don't tell me you just landed?!" He said. I just nodded. I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Wake me up if we're going to start." I said. Pero hindi ko makuha yung tulog ko. Naramdaman ko namang may umupo sa tabi ko, si Chloe siguro.

"Bal, he went to LA." I started. But my eyes remain closed.

"Who?" Dom asked.

"Yves. He went there. January 2." I replied.

"Nakipagbalikan ka?" Dom asked. I didn't answer.

"That's why you're ditching me. Nice play, Louisse Alexandria." Gerard said. Nagulat ako at napabangon. Akala ko si Chloe yung katabi ko. Hindi ako nakapagreact at natawag sya kasi nagstart ng mag-ayos ng seating arrangement.

After nung unang exam hindi ko matext si Gerard. Nawala ko kasi yung phone ko sa LA. Inabutan lang ako ng bago ni mommy nung pasakay na kami ng plane. Maghapon na hindi sya tumabi sa amin. Hindi naman nagrereact sila Dom.

Pag-uwi ko ng condo ay naligo lang ako. Humiga ako pagkatapos. Nung feeling ko nagugutom na ako at need ko na magreview, lumabas ako ng kwarto. Gerard was there, sitting on my bar stool. May pagkain din sa harapan nya.

"What are you doing here?" I asked then got myself a bottled water.

"Are you seriously back with him? Kaya iniiwasan mo ako ng dalawang linggo?" Inis na tanong nya. Umupo ako sa tabi nya at tinignan yung mga inorder nya.

"Babe, are you guys back together?" He repeated. I just looked at him.

"So you guys are. Okay, we lasted for months. No thank you needed, anyway." He said. Nung tatayo na sya ay tumawa ako ng malakas.

"What makes you think I'll go back to him? You told me cheating is non-negotiable. And I also believe in that. Ganda ko namang nagpapaloko lang." I commented. He immediately pulled me for a hug.

"God, akala ko nabola ka na naman nya." He uttered then kissed my shoulder.

"I really missed you. Did we really fight?" He asked softly.

"Did we?" I asked back to tease him.

He sighed. "You ignored my messages for two weeks. I'm going crazy here. Why didn't you reply?" He asked then hugged me even tighter.

"Is it my obligation to reply to you? Sino ka ba?" I teased. He loosen the hug and stared at me directly.

"You're not oblige to. But, at least make me at ease na okay ka." He uttered.

I pinched his nose. "I'm in LA with my family, paanong hindi ako magiging okay?" I  questioned him. He hugged me again.

"I don't know, I'm getting paranoid when you're not with me." He sighed.

"Babe, I think I failed today's exams." He stated. Tinignan ko sya ng may pagtataka.

"It's somewhat easy thou, I mean lumabas yung mga nasa trans tska samplex." I uttered. Nakatitig pa din sya.
