After I finally let him go, I signed up for the seminar that will be held at Davao. I know he'll leave the following week, and I don't need to say goodbye, letting him go was painful enough.

"How's Davao?" Dom asked. Lately, ang dalas ng pagtambay nya sa OB ward.

"Still Davao." I murmured. Pumikit lang ako habang nakahiga sa kama. Nakapikit din si Chloe sa kabila. Sobrang pagod ng duty na 'to.

"You didn't even send him off." Dom stated.

My eyes remain closed. "I don't think I have to. I already agreed for him to leave. That's enough."

"Do you want to get his new number." He insisted.

"No, thank you." I mumbled. He didn't push it further. We just had our late dinner. Kasama na rin namin si Kassandra. Even Jus and Trix suddenly appeared.

After less than a year, nakaka-uwi na ako ng condo sa off ko. It felt different first, but I'm slowly learning. I got a new haircut yesterday, I had it colored with ash blonde, I looked different, but I still feel the same. I missed him most days.

"Dinner?" Lance said smiling when I opened the door for him. He ordered from a chinese resto nearby.

"You look good, I must say." He uttered with a kind smile.

"You think? This is me from pre-med." I murmured.

"Yeah. It compliments you." He said casually. "Hindi halatang naiwan."

I rolled my eyes on him. "Grabe ha, ang savage."

"Club tayo." He offered. I just nodded.

"Lance, I have a question. Will a man will stick with just one girl? Kahit magkalayo?" Seryosong tanong ko. Nakailang shot na kami.

"Si Gerard 'to? Nasa tao yan. Kahit ano pa ibato sayo, kung ayaw mo, ayaw mo." Nakangiting sabi nya. Inabutan lang nya ako ulit ng shot glass. Iniwan kami agad ni Chloe kasi sinundo na sya ni kuya Chester.

"I heard it from OPD kanina. But, I want to ask you this. Is there a difference between being loyal and being faithful?" I said plainly.

He looked at me astounded, maybe. "Loyalty, I think is about what you agreed upon, while with faithfulness no agreement was made but he chose you solely."

"So loyal people cheat?" I asked confused.

He sighed deeper than normal. "When you're loyal you appreciate things but you know where you belong, but with faithfulness you only see that person and you only belong to that person."

"But, it's different with everyone. Why? Having doubts already?" He asked with a grin smile.

"Not really. It's just that, we never had something that we agreed upon. He even told me I can date here." I voiced out.

"There are promises you never voice out. You just know." He mumbled.

"You and your Monique, did you agree upon something?" I asked aimlessly.

"We don't have any. But, I'm faithful to her. Took me years to realize that the girl I love is my best friend all along." He said smiling.

"Kelan sya uuwi?" Tanong ko.

"I don't know. I told her to just do her residency here. But, she likes the independent life." He responded.

"And you okay with the LDR?" I creased my forehead.
