The youtooz new Techno plush is so cute.... My wallet...

Anyways, Warning: Another angsty chapter. This time especially at the start. There will be mentions of death and signs of grief.

Technoblade leaned back in his armchair, lookeding out the window at the snowy landscape. Everything was silent, devoid of any signs of life apart from himself.

He sighed, running his hand through his hair as he turned back to his desk. He was in the middle of fixing up his broken mask, but he couldn't stop his mind drifting of to completely different topics. He had hoped that doing something might take his mind off of things, but he was very wrong.

Phil. Techno's mind replayed the moment he died over and over again. It felt like some sort of curse, a loop he was stuck in and unable to get out of. His brain had decided to remember every detail however tiny it was, like the way Phil's wings had completely lost their silver shine as his life slowly faded away. So slowly, yet it all happened so fast. Techno remembered his broken self try to force a totem into the older man's bloodied hands, but to no avail. Phil was too weak to grip onto anything.

All Techno could do is hold him tight and be there for him as the winged man paled more and more before his body went completely limp in his arms. Then, the weight in Techno's had slowly disappeared. Phil was gone.

And after that... Techno couldn't remember. His mind remembered everything so vividly up until that point.

Techno had lost all effort to continue fixing his mask. He just needed a break from it for a bit. Getting up from his armchair, he trudged up the ladder to his room so he could sleep, only to dream about the people who were no longer with him.

<————->

"Hey.. Bad? Are you in there?" A male voice called outside the door of Badboyhalo's room. It was Ant, a close friend of the demons. He hadn't seen his friend in a while and had gotten worried about him. He had passed Puffy while on the prime path, who had mentioned that Bad had returned. So Ant had gone to visit the mansion, with high hopes he would be able to see his friend.

There was no answer. Ant sighed, predicting that he was most likely somewhere else and was about to turn back until he heard a shuffle inside the room. No ordinary person would have been able to hear it, but Ant's large beige cat ears were able to pick up even the tiniest of sounds.

"... Hello?" Ant hesitated as he slowly opened the door. He didn't like to intrude, but if it was Bad; it was very unlike him to not answer.

Upon opening it revealed the room he was familiar with, however his eyes were immediately drawn to the large bundle of covers and blankets on top the his friend's bed. He knew not all of the covers even belonged to Bad, as he noticed how a couple of the blankets were a light blue in colour. Which meant they most likely belonged to Skeppy.

'That's odd.' Ant thought to himself. He approached the bundle quietly, being cautious. The bundle moved slightly, making another noise.

"Bad??" Ant called softly, which made the blankets move about some more until finally, Bad lifted one of the blankets and pulled it away from his face.

The cat hybrid gasped. Bad looked awful. His dark skin was completely stained by wet tears that caused his long, raven bangs to stick messily to his face. His eyes were slightly swollen, suggesting he had been crying for a while.
