Bad stood infront of the lava barrier carrying a cup full of water in one hand and a raw potato in the other.

He was waiting for the lava to drain away and it was clearly taking a while, making him wonder if he had used his keycard correctly.

The demon was nervous as he waited. It felt like he hadn't seen Techno awake for a while now and he hoped he was doing okay. Yet deep down, Bad knew that he might not be. Sam had already stated that Techno had woken up a day after being captured. Bad would have to ask what had happened to him back then.

Bad glanced back to the lava, realising that it had slowly begun to disappear, revealing what was behind it.

He saw the high security cell, a black obsidian box that floated in a room the size of a warehouse. The front of the box was open, showing a robust netherite barrier with a gap at the top. It was too high for the demon to see the Blood god.

The bridge slowly began moving towards the cell as soon as he used his keycard. Bad made sure to be careful to move in pace with the bridge, since if he fell down he doubted he would be coming back up.

The demon gulped as the bridge began to move forward, causing him to almost trip up on his own feet. However, he was able to stay steady, while gripping onto the cup and potato.

The bridge eventually reached the other side, coming to a halt at the foot of the obsidian cell.

Bad stepped out onto it, now painfully aware that Techno would be aware of someone else's presence.

He hesitated. "...Techno?"

There was silence, besides the lava that bubbled below them. Techno's response was strangely delayed.

"Badboyhalo." His voice was monotonous, devoid of any sign of emotion. It threw Bad off; was the Blade expecting him?

"Are there..." Bad called out, rather softly. He hadn't looked over into the cell just yet. "Are there any cameras in there with you right now?"

There was another silence.

"Unless the cameras are microscopic, then no."

"Hold on," Bad stated hurriedly. "I'm going to let down the barrier."

The demon quickly swiped his key card, listening as he heard some pistons move from far underneath him, until the barrier sank into the floor, revealing Technoblade.

He was standing right at the back wall, looking somewhat underdressed without his cloak, crown or mask. His red eyes bore into the keycard in the demon's hand, before returning back up to his face.

"You... Work here." The Blade pointed out. His eyes were narrowed in judgement, voice harsh.

"Yes..." Bad suddenly felt lost for the right words to say. "I came to bring you this."

Techno grunted when he saw the raw potato in the demon's clawed hand. "Put it with the others." He then pointed to the growing pile of uneaten raw potatoes in the corner of the room.

Bad opened his mouth then closed it again. He decided to place the potato with the others as he spoke. "You... haven't been eating them?"

Techno cringed at the concern that was apparent in the demon's tone. He already knew it wasn't genuine.
