Quackity-"

"Shut the fuck up." Quackity immediately interrupted.

Badboyhalo hated this sort of atmosphere. Quackity had sat himself on one of the chairs inside of the community house. Bad was knelt in front of him, trying to clean up the small wounds on his forehead. But he was finding it more difficult than he'd imagined, due to the long awkward silence that seemed to stretch out into hours.

This was not helped by the winged man making continuous eye contact with him, as if he had something to say. Yet every time Bad tried to ask, he was immediately shut down.

He sighed slowly to himself as he placed the wet towel down and got to his feet, a signal that he had finished. Bad gave Quackity a quick glance after he noticed the other wasn't moving. That was when he realised Quackity was still watching him.

"You're going to try and interfere with his execution, aren't you?" Quackity suddenly stated. A question; although it sounded rhetorical, as if he was already certain.

"How..." Bad tried to find the words, but was left cut short.

"It would make sense." The hybrid said blatantly. "It's something you would do."

The demon watched Quackity slowly rise to his feet, dusting himself off before looking at Bad a final time. "Whatever you're planning, it won't work. So don't even bother."

"How are you so certain..?" Bad questioned, his words tame as he put effort into his composure.

Quackity didn't bother answering. In fact, he didn't even spare the demon another glance before turning on his heels and exiting through the community house doors.

Bad just continued to stare at where the man had left, trying to sort through his feelings and what Quackity had meant by that.

Was he implying something?

Sam watched closely as the pink haired hybrid slowly began to move from the floor.

Technoblade, yet again, had awoken with another headache. Although, by now, he was used to it.

He realised he was sprawled out on the cold floor of the cell he had been contained in. That's when he remembered Quackity.

Technoblade violently pushed himself off the ground to get a good view of what stood in front of him. Pain pierced up his body from his hand as he did so.

"You're awake." The voice he heard was low. It didn't belong to Quackity. Instead, Sam stood there, a bucket secured in his hand.

"Where's Quackity?" Technoblade asked immediately, ignoring the voices that were currently enraged at how Quackity wasn't currently around. That the opportunity for blood had been lost.

"I told Bad to take him away and to clean up the damage you caused." Sam stated, emotionless.

That led Techno to fall silent. Bad had been here? Did that mean it was night now?

The piglin directed a short glance at the clock, noticing it was in fact 11:00 pm, before watching as Sam pulled out his keycard.

"Well, I'll be going now." Sam said. "I've waited for you to wake up long enough now."

He didn't wait for the Blades response. Instead, he swiped the keycard and the netherite barrier rose up until the warm glow of the lava was barely noticeable anymore. He then could faintly hear the sound of the red stone working and slowly fading away before it abruptly stopped.
