Chapter warning: Bad gets pretty controlling and possessive in this chapter. Not only this, there will be mentions of blood and injury. If you aren't ok with reading about this, I suggest you don't read the second half of this chapter, so when you see the '——' mark.

As soon as Bad entered the cell, he rushed towards the Blade expressing his concern and asking about his hand.

Techno had shrugged it off lightly, but Bad hadn't been convinced. The demon had already brought fresh bandages with him and was intent in using them. So Techno eventually let the other replace the bandages, only for Bad's concern to grow once he noticed that the axe had gone straight through.

Techno wasn't as worried though. His body had become very used to quickly recovering to enable him to fight another battle. Once again, he brushed Bad's concern away, saying it would probably recover within a few weeks.

They had more important things to talk about. They needed a plan.

During the next couple of hours, they both went through the different ideas they had come up with, analysing every possible circumstance that could take place. Techno had taken out one of the empty books to use to note down every idea.

Many of them had to eventually get scrapped, due to it being too much of a risk or physically impossible. A prison escape mission was a risk in itself, but one they had no choice but to take. So it was about minimising the risks as much as they could.

There was only one day in the next week that an escape might be possible and that was 2 days before the execution. Why was it that this date was important? Because it was the only date Sam wasn't around. The only day he had specified he would be out.

Bad could still vividly remember the moment Sam had arranged the meeting with him and Ant. It was there he mentioned he had something he needed to take care of on that day, without specifying what it was. On that day, it would be Bad and Ant's job to stick around the prison, until he came back.

Having Ant around was a problem, but he was one of Badboyhalo's closest friends. If it came down to it, he didn't think Ant would do anything to put him in any danger.

The plan they both devised was relatively simple. If they managed to start a fire within the maximum security cell, it should be enough to trigger a nether portal to open, since each wall was made of obsidian.

However, once Techno would have made it into the nether, he would have found himself inside the passage way room between the outside prison portal and the one next to reception. Not only that, but the disappearance of Techno's presence inside the cell would trigger the main alarm, meaning the guards would immediately be teleported to their stations.

There, Bad would tell Ant to check the cell while he went to reception and opened up the main portal, allowing Technoblade to get through. At that point, he would need to find a hiding place, far away from the Badlands where the portal stood.

By the time Bad had left the cell, he was in a relatively good mood, despite the problems that had occurred with Quackity. He really did believe the plan could work.

After this, he would also be able to put his full attention back onto Skeppy, who needed a cure. He'll have to ask Puffy about it later, as he knew she was eager to help him out.

Technoblade, on the other hand, remained skeptical. The plan itself was simple, maybe that's what had thrown him off. Or was it Badboyhalo's strange amount of optimism about it? Techno already knew he was a naturally optimistic guy for the most part, but he wasn't expecting this.
