allie stirred in the foreign bed, pulling the wrinkled comforter back over her. she squinted as soon as the light hit her eyes when she opened them, giving her a glaring headache. "oh god" she mumbled to herself. she looked down at her body, only wearing an oversized t shirt that didn't belong to her.

"what the fuck happened last night?" she asked gus, who laid half awake beside her. "morning to you too. you did a couple lines, had a couple drinks, here we are" he said. "i feel like i died" she groaned, putting her hand to her forehead. "aw" gus cooed. "come here" he told her, reaching out his arm to invite her closer. she sleepily rolled into his arms, starting to fall back asleep. "i have to get going soon. brayden will get suspicious. what time is it?" she asked, beginning to panic once her reality set in.

"it's only 10 baby, you've got plenty of time. go back to bed" he told her, pulling the blanket back over her. he knew brayden would rip his head off for even being within 10 feet of his sister, but he had this strange instinct to protect her and take care of her. he felt like the universe literally took this perfectly polished, sweet girl and dropped her right at his feet. he stayed calm and gentle around her, which was unlike gus. he had a short and sensitive temper but was also incredibly loyal and protective of those he loved, which was very few people.

allie seemed much too good to be chasing him, he was scared he would break her completely, although after only one night she'd been corrupted far past any point she ever thought she would be. allie tried to force herself back to sleep but failed, she laid with her eyes closed letting her other senses take in the environment. gus twitched and moved around here and there, and she could hear voices in the kitchen downstairs trying to make plans.

"i should really start to get going. brayden would kill us both if he found out" allie decided, forcing herself awake and to sit up. "are you sure?" gus asked her. "yeah i'm sure. i'll just go back to bed at home, i won't sleep a wink here worrying like this" she told him.  "whatever you need princess" he told her, loosening the grasp he had around her. "i like the nicknames all of a sudden" she pointed out to him. "good" he smiled.

allie struggled to pull herself out of bed, pulling yesterday's clothes back on and hoped her brother wouldn't notice. allie had finished dressing and gus swung his legs out of bed as well. "at least let me take you  to the door" he told her, rushing to keep up with her current pace around the room.

she double checked to make sure she had all of her belongings, although she would certainly be back soon. gus walked behind her on the stairs, making sure she didn't trip.

"dude no way" one of the other guys that live there said as gus and allie walked into the kitchen. "what?" she asked. "not braydens sister man. he's going to kill you!" the guy said. "don't tell him please" allie said, in a timid voice trying to be assertive. " ya he would. that's why he's not going to find out right?" gus asked the other guy.

"okay. i'm gonna head out. thanks for letting me stay" allie said, walking towards the door. gus followed closely behind her, stepping out onto the porch with her. "well, bye. thanks again" she smiled. "anytime. come back soon?" gus asked her. "very soon" she said. "okay. drive safe, text me when you're home olay?" he asked her.

"of course. bye gus" she told him, giving her final goodbye. before she could take a step gus leaned in, stealing one more kiss from her before she left. "bye sweetheart" he said. she waved to him from the front seat of the car.

allie arrived back home around 11, braydens car was still in the driveway so hopefully he was asleep still. she carefully snuck back in the house, and back upstairs to her room. she thought she was in the clear once she got down the hall but brayden called to her, "how was your friends place?" he asked. "it was fun" she told him, which technically wasn't a lie. "that's good" he said, ending the conversation.

allie breathed a sigh of relief at his unrealization. she was safe for now, but each time would be a greater and greater risk of getting caught.
