Chapter 4

Tanu and Pooravi were shopping in a mall. Pooravi received a call and went to a corner. Tanu was looking for Pooravi because she took much time.

"Now, where has she gone?"

"This girl never know where she went while talking on phone...." Tanu muttered annoyingly. She collided with someone and waited to land on Mother Earth but never landed, only to open her eyes and staring into familiar 'familiar?' brown orbs.

Flashback

They were doing their Physics numericals. Their board exams were near. Tanu was doing her work and heard some noises. Somebody was pranking his friend.

"Tanu, where did this come from?", An irritated Ritika said. They were solving their physics problems.

"This..",Tanu again get interrupted. Some voices were bothering her. She ignores and again they interrupted her. She finally looked up only to look into brown mesmerizing orbs. They had an eye lock only for 2 seconds and their heart skipped a beat. It was their first eye lock. Because she never looked directly into his eyes. She always gets nervous near him and tries to avoid an eye contact.

She quickly breaks the eye lock and get immersed in her work. Their heart was beating loudly. He was overjoyed as she finally noticed him. He was deliberately doing pranks on his friends and making noises only to grab her attention. And the eyelock, OMGGG! It was like cherry on the top. He was doing salsa in his mind. Her dark brown innocent eyes!

Noooo! He can't be here. He was in London. It's my imagination. She was lost in her thoughts.

"HOLY FU**ING SH*T!", A voice breaks their eye lock. They got their senses back. She was in his arms. His one hand was on her waist and other hand was supporting her. They get out of the embrace. They unknowingly missed the warmth. They get shocked and happy to see each other.

"SOURABH"

"TANU"

They said simultaneously and get happy to see face to face each other after 8 years. 8 years! This is not 90s love story where you have only one picture of your lover and you are seeing your lover after so many years but the feelings were still same. The mixed emotions that they were going through at the moment. They were shocked, happy, nervous. Their eyes were showing mixture of emotions. They want to hug each other, wanted to be in each other's embrace but they were bind to their boundaries.

"Umm, how are you", Tanu said as she was the one to break to trance.

"I was good but now feeling great", Sourabh said. He was very happy. His happiness has no limits. Tanu gets confused at his words but choose to ignore.

He was going to ask her something but stops himself looking at a shocked and confused girl. Tanu notices that.

"She is my best friend and colleague, Dr. Pooravi", Tanu said and Pooravi was going to say something but she indicated her to stop and she stopped",Pooravi, he was my classmate from school". They both nodded and slightly smile at each other.

When he was riding back home he got a call from his mom to bring some stuff from the mall. He went their only to bump into love of his life.

"Tanu, I got a call from home and i have to go now",Pooravi said to give them space.

"Is everything okay?",Tanu asked to which Pooravi said,"Yes, everything is fine. I will tell you later. Okay, bye". They share hugs and Pooravi left.

"Tanu, if you are free, can we go to a nearest coffee shop and have some chitchat? ", Sourabh said after gathering courage. She was the only one in front of whom he always gets nervous.

"Okay",she agrees and they go to a coffee shop. They sat opposite to each other. There was a likely silence. No one started the conversation.

"When did you come?", she asked breaking the silence.

"Yesterday",He said.

"Ohk", she only said.

"So..what are you doing now a days?", He asked her. They did some chat about their career and family. They exchanged their phone numbers.

"Umm..we met after many years let's take a selfie",Tanu said nervously. They were just blushing.

"Of course",He smile and took their selfie. The moment took them in the past incident. A smile crept on their lips.

Flashback

It was their last day at school. All students were capturing the memories of last day at school.

Whole class took their group photo. After that all girls and boys group photo were taken separately in a camera brought by one of their friend.

After their group photo session, all students were capturing photos with each and every student individually.

Tanu was sitting after her photo session with girls. A boy of their class came and asked her for their photo and she agree.Then, all her friends from boys took picture with her.

Someone was burning. He too wants a photo with her, but how? Like him she too wants their picture, but how? How to ask? Same question was running in both of their minds. Ritika understood and started shouting,

"Tanu! Sourabh wants to take a picture with you", she literally drags her to him and make her stand near him.

"Stand near him. A little close", she said and took their picture.

Both were nervous as hell. They stood so close together. Their heart was beating furiously. His ears were all red and her cheeks were full on fire. But they thanks Ritika in their mind. Because of her they got a picture together.

They said good byes and left with a wide smile crept on their face.
