Winter's POV:

Techno and I sat together for a while, just catching up. I eventually showed him my sketch, and he agreed it would be good for my style.

The only thing he suggested was to make it more light weight with a few hollow spots.

I agreed silently, and sketched in where they would go. "What metal should I use?" I asked.

"Well, I think you should embezzle it with emeralds." I groaned, but agreed that that would look good. "It needs to be a light metal, so not gold or netherite unfortunately." He was right, whilst it was strong, netherite was super heavy.

Not great for this style.

Netherite was best for its strength and durability, so it was better for swords and axes when it came to fighting.

He sat and thought for a minute, before sitting up slightly. "A steel, titanium and chromium alloy!" he said.

"What?" I asked, confused at this gibberish.

"Steel is great for weapons, that's just basic principle and titanium is unmatched when it comes to tensile strength, whilst chromium tops the Mohs hardness scale. It'll also look like plain iron from a distance" Techno said, as if I'd understand anything he was saying.

"Please repeat that in layman's terms." I said, flat faced.

"You really did not pay attention at all in those classes." he said, glaring at me under his pig mask.

"Nope!" I replied, popping the 'p'.

He explained the idea in a way I could understand. We then sketched out the final design to look like this.

I decided against more than one hole I could use to loop it on to my belt, as well as any full-blown embezzling

I decided against more than one hole I could use to loop it on to my belt, as well as any full-blown embezzling. Techno did however convince me to use carved emerald to write my name on the hilt. We both agreed that I'd do the enchanting, since I had a more delicate touch when it comes to etching in the small lines.

"How many of these would we be making?" he asked, standing up.

"Two," I said, grabbing the hand he had reached out to me, and pulling myself up.

I had debated over one or two for a while, but decided two so I could use either hand to attack. I was ambidextrous, so I might as well take advantage of the fact.

"We better get started then." Techno grinned. Maybe I'd been a bit harsh on him...

Then I remembered what Wilbur had said. "Wait!" I called to Techno, running to catch up with him, vaulting over the short walls between us. "Wil said that Schlatt was around." I said when I got to standing next to him, just by the door.

Techno wasn't that much taller than me, but I still had to crane my neck to look him in the eyes. Just as I said that, Schlatt's voice rang through Pogtopia. Me and Techno made hasty eye contact, before he blocked off the door with some cobblestone.
