Winter's POV:
The election was coming up so soon and I had to say, I was nervous. What would happen if we didn't win? Would we have problems because of the tension during the election? Had Wilbur's deal gone ok?
Wil had never told me how the deal had gone. I sighed and looked over L'Manburg. I was sat atop the walls, looking at the everyday life of the growing country. Maybe it will all be different tomorrow.
I jumped down and landed on one of the many trees. I climbed down the branches and went to see what I needed to do before tomorrow.
--that night--
I crashed into my bed, once again not bothering to change. I pulled the blankets over myself and started to drift off.
Despite my dowsey state, my guard was still high. My mind kept wandering to last night and the cut that now adorned my cheek.
The snap of a twig caught my attention and I sat up in bed, my covers falling off my shoulders.
The hell was that?
I looked around, the darkness blending in with the dark walls. I stood up and stepped off my bed. The cold and rough blackstone came in contact with my bare feet as I walked to the edge of the wall.
I scanned the dark forest, looking for any sign of life. A flash of lime green caught my eye and I looked back towards it to see Dream.
Yay, he's here.
I rolled my eyes and turned away from the forest, kinda pisssed that I got up for that. I walked back over to my bed and climbed under the covers.
Despite being satisfied with my answers, it still took what felt like forever to drift away.
--in the morning--
After what felt like the worst sleep of my life, I stretched and sat up in the early morning light. A lot of my concerns that washed away whilst I slept came bubbling back.
What if we don't win? What happens then? What if-
"Shut the fuck up." I said, internally glaring at my thoughts.
"But I didn't say anything?" came Tubbo's voice. My eyes widened.
"No, no. not you," I said quickly. "My thoughts." I explained. Tubbo nodded understandingly.
"Wilbur wants to have breakfast as a group before the election results are read." He said. I stood up with a nod and followed him to the ladder.
"How have you been lately, Tubbo?" I asked as we descended the ladder. "Eh, so-so. Pretty stressed to be honest." I laughed dryly. "Ain't that a fact." I said. He giggled at my response.
We reached the bottom of the ladder and walked towards Wilbur, Tommy, Fundy and Niki.
"Morning everyone." I said, joining them. A chorus of 'morning's came back, before they went back to their convostations.
Wilbur sat up straight and asked,
"Is everyone ready for today?"
