Dream's POV:
Winter's voice spoke through the crisp night air.
She's certainly better at sneaking than Tommy.
"I'm going to give him what he wants." I answered. "It's a mutually beneficial alliance."
Manburg falls, I regain control.
"Yeah, yeah. Manburg falls, you get your power back." She said, bored tone to her voice.
I turned to face her. How did she know?
I saw a small smirk crack her features as I examined her.
She was wearing diamond armour, which looked to be made for agility rather than strength.
I can easily overpowered her..
My eyes drifted to her weapons. They were simple dagger like knives.
What are they made of?
It looked like iron, but it's probably something stronger.
She just stood there, looking me in the eyes.
Why does she have a scar under her eye?
I shrugged it off. I didn't really care, she was just a nuisance.
“Why aren’t you in L’Manburg?” I asked.
“In case you haven’t noticed, green boy, I haven't been in Manburg for a few days.” She answered, looking unimpressed.
She hasn’t?
I need to pay more attention to where she is, she could destroy everything I’m working for.
“I’m on Pogtopia’s side,” She said, sighing slightly. “More specifically, my brother's side.” She narrowed her eyes at me.
She took a step towards me.
“So that means, I’m getting L’Manburg back.” she stepped to be just a few feet away from me. “No matter what Wil has planned.”
She laughed.
“I’ve seen the signs, Dream!” she brought her hand up to wipe the tears forming in her eyes. “Wilbur’s going senial, Tommy’s being manipulated by my said coo coo brother and Techno’s an anarchist.”
He’s an anarchist? This is new.
“I’m the only person in Pogtopia who will fight for L’Manburg until I die.” She looked me in the eyes, her mismatched eyes looking dead. She wasn’t even hiding the glowing green bubbling in her left eye.
She looked up at the cloudy sky and took a deep breath.
“Why haven't you killed me, Dream?” She asked, still looking up at the sky. I was taken aback by her question for a moment. “If I’m dangerous, why keep me alive? Why-”
I cut her off.
“Because you’re more useful to me alive than dead.” I walked out of the clearing, where she stayed still.
Winter’s POV:
You’re more useful to me alive than dead…
Wonder what he means by that.
I’m basically useless to both countries I'm supposed to be part of. Then the full message of what he said dawned in my head.
I'm useful to him.
Looks like I need to be careful around everyone now.
Not that I wasn't doing that already.
I snapped out of my thoughts and Dream was gone. I would usually go to the L’Manburg walls at a time like this, but those were gone.
I know eret has a copy of them in his museum, but it wasn’t the same.
Guess the next best thing is Penis tower.
I walked to Eret’s tower, the dark forest around me occasionally rustling with the sounds of animals.
Tommy’s probably dealing with Wilbur, again.
I felt bad for leaving him to deal with my brother. Maybe Tommy will do it better than I can…
I reached the base of Eret’s tower and went in, boots creaking on the spruce floorboards.
I climbed the ladder to the first layer and sat on the low wall.
I took out a piece of paper I had prepared earlier and my pen.
I leaned against the raised part of the wall and started writing.
Dear Phil,
I need your help.
