Mia's POV( 3 week's later)

I was driving to the hospital and once i got there i changed into my scrubs and met up with Arizona"I am gonna ask Teddy out on a date today.What do you think?"I asked Arizona while we were doing some paper work's"That would be cute but where?"Arizona asked"Maybe a picnic in the backyard of my house"I said"Omg that's so cute"Arizona said and i nodded"Have you two done it yet?"Arizona asked and i just looked at her and smiled

"Not yet...I don't know about Teddy but i want to make it special"I said"Okay Teddy is so lucky to have you.You are the sweetest"Arizona said and i just laughed.We did some pre-ops and once we were done i heard that Teddy is doing a surgery so i decided to watch it from the gallery"Well Walter is lucky look's like he doesn't have to lose any lung"Hunt said"Yeah no thanks to his kid"Avery said"Well it was an accident.That happens"Teddy said"That kid shouldn't have been there in the first place"Derek said"Well he's the guy's son..Family businesses there is something to be said for loyalty"Teddy said"You put a person in a job like that because they have the skill to handle it"Derek said"Not because they are your friend or your kid"Derek said and i just rolled my eye's"Are you intentionally equating me with the idiot sun who dropped the crab cage on his dad or is that just a happy coincidence?"Teddy asked"Alright we are ready to extract the hook from the man"Hunt said"Alright nobody move apart from Dr.Hunt"Derek said"On my count"Hunt said"One..."Hunt started"Two.."He said and i started to get a little nervous. After they finished they left the OR so i went out and i was going down to get something to eat and then once the elevator door's opened.I saw Teddy and she looked really sad like she was about to cry. I just came in and i clicked my floor that i will be stopping on"Do you have anything to do right now?"I asked and Teddy shock her head so i stopped the Elevator"You have a cold it could of happened to anyone"I said.I already saw tears in Teddy's eye's"Yeah but it didn't"Teddy said"It was me on the day that Shepherd is interviewing Evans for my job"Teddy said"And i'm the new girl around here who no one really know's"Teddy said"And even Yang is....in love with Evans"Teddy said"And i..."Teddy started and then she sneezed"And i have a freaking cold"Teddy said and she started to cry"I'm sorry"Teddy said"Hey Teddy it's okay"I said and i pulled her into my arm's and she put her arm's around my neck and she cried on my shoulder's.I just smothen her hair and my other arm was around her waist"It's okay"I said.Her hair smelled so nice like strawberries"Even tho you are the new girl i got to know you pretty well and i am not gonna let Derek fire you.You are an amazing surgeon and you are too good to get fired for just one little mistake because of a stupid cold"I said.Once we pulled away we were inches apart and we put our forehead's together.Teddy just looked down so i lifted her chin up so she was looking into my eye's"It's gonna be okay i promise"I said.I whipped her tears away.Then we pulled away and i put the elevator back on"And you do have a person that really like's you"I said and Teddy looked at me and i winked at her and then we went our separate way's.

At the end of the day i went to Derek's office and i heard him talking with Mark and Owen and i knocked on the door"Dr.Shepherd can i talk to you?"I asked and Derek nodded"Whatever you do. You can't fire Dr.Altman. She is one of the best Cardiothoracic attendings"I said and Derek looked at me"I am not gonna listen to you"Derek said"What?"I asked"I am not gonna do anything for you just because Altman is your new girl to screw just because of you not wanting to feel about what happened to you.After her you will use someone else"Derek said.I couldn't believe him.I looked at Mark and Owen and they were both shocked"Woah Derek that was a dick move"Mark said.

I just left the office without saying anything and i went into Callie's lab where she has some casts"Callie is there any casts that i can break?"I asked"Sure but as you will be breaking them you will tell me what happened"Callie said as she put out some casts and she give me a hammer and i started to smash the casts"So what happened?"Callie asked"Well you know how Evans is here?"I asked Callie and she nodded"Well he is here for Teddy's job and today isn't her best day because she has a cold and Derek is being a bitch to her.When i went to him just now he said'I am not gonna do anything for you just because Altman is your new girl to screw up just because of you not wanting to feel about what happened to you.After her you will use someone else'.Like can you believe him."I asked"Wait he actually said that?"Callie asked"Ask Mark and Owen.They were right there"I said and i started to have tears in my eye's"Okay now give me the hammer before you hurt yourself"Callie said and she took the hammer from me"I mean they can't fire h-her right? She did nothing w-wrong"I said with tears and out of breath"It's gonna be okay"Callie said"But what if it's n-not.What if me going to Derek made everything w-w-worse and i am gonna lose Teddy"I choked out.Callie just hugged me."Everything will be okay"Callie said.I calmed down after a short time and we pulled away.I am on call today so i stayed behind and i was checking on my patient.After sometime i saw Teddy outside of the door.I went outside and Teddy came up to me.She looked a lot better then she did before and she stood infront of me"Please tell me that you are staying"I said with tears. Teddy came closer so she was next to me"I'm staying"Teddy said"I told you that everything will be okay"I said and Teddy smiled and nodded"Thank you"Teddy said and i put my hand closer to Teddy's and we intertwined our fingers.I looked at Teddy and i just smiled.I looked at my watch and i saw that it was 2 AM"Today. 4 PM come to my house wear something comfortable"I said with a smile and i saw Teddy blushing then i left to do some chartings and stuff like that.I went home and i started to get everything ready for the date. Everyone will be out of the house today so me and Teddy will be on our own.So once i finished doing everything the backyard looked like this

After sometime i went to my room and i changed into something comfortable but also nice and i stared to put all the food outside and then there was a knock on the door and i opened it and i saw it was Teddy and i smiled"Come right in"I said and i let her in and we went into the backyard"Omg this is so cute"Teddy said with a smile which brightened my day.We sat down and started to talk.Well i mostly was listening while Teddy was talking about her time's in the army which were amazing.I took Teddy's hand and she looked at me and smiled"Teddy... Since the first time i saw you. I already saw a beautiful person and i really like you so much i want to ask you...Will you be my girlfriend?"I asked her and she smiled and she came up to me and she kissed me.I felt bunch of butterflies in my stomach and i kissed her back"Yes"Teddy said.She sat on my lap and we kept kissing"Yes,yes,yes"Teddy kept saying between every kiss.She is so cute.

After sometime Teddy left home and i cleaned everything up and i saw Derek and Meredith coming in"Hey Mia. Derek tell her who we saw at Joe's"Meredith said with a smile"I don't want to listen to anything that come's out from that man's mouth"I said and i went upstairs to my room and i just layed on my bed and then Meredith came in"He called me a whore"I said"Wait when and how did he say it?"Meredith asked me"You know the whole thing that happened in the OR because you were there.Then Teddy actually cried.I had to make her know that she will be okay because she was scared that she will lose this job.So i went to your post-it husband.When i went to him he said'I am not gonna do anything for you just because Altman is your new girl to screw up just because of you not wanting to feel about what happened to you.After her you will use someone else'.Like can you believe him.?"I asked"Okay i will deal with him"Meredith said and left downstairs and i just changed into my pj's and i just went to sleep.
