Mia's POV

I walked into the hospital and headed straight to Callie's room to check on her. When I stepped inside, I saw her awake and alert.

"Hi," I greeted her with a big smile.

"Hi. What's got you smiling like that?" Callie asked curiously.

I grinned wider. "Me and Teddy... we did it last night."

"Oh my God! How was it?" Callie asked, her excitement evident.

"It was out of this world," I admitted with a dreamy sigh.

"I'm so happy for you," Callie said sincerely, and I smiled in return.

"Have you seen Sofia yet?" she asked after a moment.

"I'll go see her right after this," I assured her. Callie nodded but looked down, her expression troubled.

"I haven't even seen her yet," she murmured, her voice thick with emotion.

I reached for her hand, squeezing it gently. "Hey, it's going to be okay. You'll see her very soon, I promise."

Callie just nodded, still looking uncertain. We talked for a little while longer before I finally left to visit Sofia. As I approached, I saw Arizona standing nearby.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly.

Arizona turned to look at me, frowning slightly. "About what?"

"Screaming at you. This wasn't your fault," I admitted.

Arizona softened, offering me a small, grateful smile. "Thank you."

I nodded and returned her smile before turning my attention to Sofia. "You and Callie deserve the whole world, and you got it," I said, watching as Arizona gently placed her finger in Sofia's tiny hand.

"I guess we did," she whispered, mesmerized by their daughter.

"I'm happy for you two," I said sincerely before leaving to get back to work.

Later that evening, after finishing my shift, I met up with Lexie to grab something to eat.

"So, how are things with you and Mark?" I asked as we sat down.

Lexie hesitated. "We're fine, I guess," she said before sighing. "I love him."

I gasped dramatically. "Aww, my baby sister is in love," I teased, singing the words playfully.

Lexie laughed and rolled her eyes. "Shut it. It's not like I'm more in love than you are with Teddy."

I blushed. "Okay, fine," I admitted.

"How do you think Derek and Meredith will be with their new baby?" I asked, changing the subject.

"I think they'll be great parents. We both know they've wanted this for a long time," Lexie said, smiling.

I nodded in agreement. "In a few weeks, the residents will have their oral boards. I just hope they all pass... but I don't want them to leave us."

Lexie sighed. "Yeah..."

"Let's go home," I said, and she nodded.

When I got home, I called Teddy, and we talked for a bit. After hanging up, I went downstairs and found Jackson cooking.

"What are you making?" I asked, leaning against the counter.

"Pancakes," he said casually.

"For dinner?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, don't judge me," he replied with a shrug. "I was hungry."

I chuckled and sat on a stool. "Are you guys studying for the oral boards?"
