Today is my first day back, and I have four surgeries scheduled. As soon as I woke up, I took a quick shower and changed into my usual clothes. I glanced over at Teddy, still asleep, and couldn't help but smile. I leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, then her cheek, and finally her neck.

She stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open. "I'm heading to the hospital. Do you want me to wait for you?" I asked.

Teddy let out a sleepy hum. "If you can?"

"For you? Anything." I leaned in, kissing her gently before making my way downstairs to grab some coffee. After taking a few sips, I went to my car and waited for Teddy.

A few minutes later, she slipped into the passenger seat, and we drove to the hospital. Once we arrived, we changed into our scrubs. Teddy decided to stay in the attendings' lounge while I went to gather my charts. When I returned, I sat beside her, scanning through my cases for the day.

"Are you ready?" Teddy asked, her eyes searching mine.

I sighed. "I have four surgeries today... I'm nervous."

She reached out, squeezing my hand. "You'll be amazing. I already know it."

I smiled at her reassurance. "Maybe tonight, we could stay at your place?" she suggested.

I glanced up at her, a grin forming on my lips. "Sure, why not?" She kissed me softly before I left to start my surgeries.

The day was intense, but every surgery was successful. I was proud of myself—I did everything perfectly.

After my shift, I headed to Teddy's house, knocking on the door. She opened it with a warm smile. "Hey, come in."

We spent the evening sitting by the fireplace, eating and talking.

"You really did that?" Teddy asked, laughing.

"Yep. Meredith couldn't stop laughing," I replied with a chuckle.

"That's amazing." Teddy gazed at me, her expression softening.

I looked into her eyes. "I love you."

She blinked, then smiled, her eyes glistening. "I love you too, Princess."

I leaned in, and soon our lips met in a deep, passionate kiss. The kiss deepened as we lost ourselves in each other. As the night progressed, the intimacy between us grew, our love and connection solidifying in a way that felt undeniably right.

Later, as we lay in bed, wrapped in each other's arms, Teddy murmured sleepily, "Stay with me tonight."

I kissed her forehead. "Tonight, tomorrow, forever."

She smiled, her arms tightening around me. "I love you."

"I love you too," I whispered, resting my head against her chest.

Wrapped in warmth and love, I quickly drifted off to sleep, knowing this was exactly where I was meant to be.
